Signatures....these forums need them.

So how come we can't use signatures on these forums?
I just like Sig's. I've got a lot of them I've made over the years. Even being able to put a text quote would be cool. To me they give insight into the minds and personalities of those posting. You can tell a lot about a person's mentality by who they like to quote. Just a thought. If the consensus is they are a waste of space, then so be it.
Their problem is...often they are inappropriate [content] to the thread in which they are posted....and like most things....once is 'cute'...but a page full of responses with their 'sigs' is something worse than tedious....to have to wade through.
When/where I could use one....it was a BIOS error...."Keyboard not found. Press F1 to continue."
I often use a quote from Raistlin Majere of Dragonlance.

It doesn't often fit every occasion, but I like it none the less. 
Silly me, just goes to show you how old I am, I thought this was about a persons signature. 
What is it exactly that we are talking about?
Those things you see at the bottom of every single post on some forums. They do get annoying after a while

When there in lies the problem, I don't go to other forums. 
This stuff is really meant for the younger folks. 
All the words that I thought I knew the meaning of have now new or additional meanings. No wonder I'm always confused. 
Some people like em' i guess. Me? I hate those friggin' things.
Your 'siggy' is on the left hand side of you post where it has your avatar AND name . I wish I had my old Member No. though (Like it means anything haha), but I took this name so I could play as "TatertotEatalot" in Demigod, and had to switch all my games to this alias.
That's what comes with age, Philly... confusion. A part of it is caused by age related "why can't I get my mind working anymore", and the other part is not having an up-to-date dictionary to decipher modern-day speak. Wicked simply doesn't mean wicked anymore... and when something is sick it's actually good. Yeah, beats me, too.
As for the signatures, my starkers one wouldn't be allowed anyway. So if I can't.....

Perhaps you will enjoy these, m'lady. I made these long ago. At one time or another I used them all and they all said "Raven Xavier" but I gave 3 of them away to friends and re-made them with their names after they "Won" them in a contest I held when I was a "Top Poster" on MySpace. Back then I had about 300 people a day reading my poetry and product reviews I'd do online. To drum up more readers for my site I'd give away collage art that I would do in my spare time when I wasn't writing.

The day these get implemented here is the very day I'll borrow some of Cap'n Starkers' curried cabbage ..and fart myself to the moon.
