As some of you know my other passion is music, singing, recording, producing etc.. recently after doing a bit of work inside my audio\studio apps I thought it might be cool to do a blind with similar stylings, techy controls, backlit with lots of glow , a look that says ..audio.

 

Just started last night.. hope you guys will appreciate my vision on this project.

 

 

and WOM.. yes, its a Master skin. :sun:

John, that is your WB you are referring to, the DX does not have a taskbar. I'm thinking that Jim has the XP style on a Vista  in that shot. ;)

the DX does not have a taskbar

This is mainly due to 2 things:

1. The systray don't work in DX on Vista.

2. I make DX themes to match Windowblinds, it only makes sense to me that you'd wanna use the blind's taskbar....duh!

 Thanks man, Got a nice chunk of Vista done today, but for those of you who have ever attempted making a true dark blind... in vista... you know how frustrating it can be and how much balancing needs done.

Doing dark and light versions for XP and Vista is almost like doing two seperate blinds.

Anyway... gettin it done. |-O v_v

Oh and I have given the uneditable shadow on the command bar text a new name

Its new name is.... ASSHOLE X-(
