Keep your spirits high mrs starkers...thats a good rule for any operation, and while I'm sure its not routine for you the operation you are about to have is 'routine' now-a-days for hospitals........you'll be back in no time.....good luck.

Sweety...it's gonna be just fine....You'll come out of anesthesia a new woman!

Now, the evil part of me has a HUGE urge to do some 'shopping' to make you laugh, but the angel sitting on my other shoulder has (regretfully  }:) ) won.

Not only that, but I've bought her a plane ticket to head over down under ( ....If you figure that one out, you're goodo_O ) to watch over my Bonzette Mate!  :sun:  |-)

So please keep an eye out for her .... She's looking for you!

I agree with the others that have replied, everything will be fine.  You will need a few days for yourself but you will soon be back here letting us know you are okay.

I would though stay away from any of the curried cabbage for a while. :O :-"

The best of luck to you, mrsstarkers.

Now if you took my advice and stayed off the curried cabbage in the first place, 'speshully that triple-concentrated stuff you love so much, you wouldn't have a hernia to get operated on.  I told ya that it takes a seasoned, cast iron gut to handle that stuff, but would you listen?  Nope!

It's that competitive nature of yours, though I must admit the starkerbark competitions were a ball.  Oh well, maybe next time you won't save it all up to try beat my best...

... gotta let rip at frequent intervals to save busting a gut.

Seriously, here's hoping it has all gone well (just got up and it's probably all over by now) and you feel like a new woman....

.... I hear change is as good as a holiday. :X :-" *_*

I would though stay away from any of the curried cabbage for a while.

Don't worry, I'll be making shure of that... don't want her busting any stitches. :-"

Just a quick report...the op went well and mrs starkers is resting comfortably at the hospital... it was late in the day when they got started so didn't finish until around 5.00pm.  Dunno if they went the 'keyhole' route or a larger incision, so she could be there a couple more days yet.

We have the daughter coming up from Tassie on Friday, so I hope she's home by then.

You're welcome all. :)   Though I was in a bit of a dilemma as to who I should tell first.... family... or um, family.  Anyhow, I bit the bullet, quit my procrasinating and called the daughter first.... then promptly posted here.

I'm sure you've been told this before starkers, but you do have a way the words.

Yeah, I've been told that... remember a cop saying it once.... as he wrote out the ticket when I used a certain four letter word. :-"

Wonderful news about Shaunna.  Now all she has to worry about is the pain in the ass she has to come home to.*_* :w00t:

Just got a call from the hospital and mrs starkers is on her way home.  They must've gone the keyhole route as they would have kept her in another say or two if it had been the larger op.  That's great cos her recovery time will be much shorter.

:)

Now all she has to worry about is the pain in the ass she has to come home to.

That's nice!  I share all my best barking information with you... and I'm a pain in the ass?

GREAT! Wonderful news...I knew that Revo The Bad Luck Uninstaller Angel would help! The surgeons probably had something to do wivvit too.

Well, I'd say that shortly before a bark there would be a pain in the ass... Yep.... Ed's right.

Since your barks are so enormous, the time would be proportionately longer. So...using the Calculus, as the bark strength approaches infinity, the time would be longer. You are therefore a pain in the ass. Q.E.D. Fart Logic Supreme.
