Let starkers do all the cooking and NO curried cabbage.

I have been... and NO curried cabbage... YET.  Last night we had stir fry beef with Thai vege, teriyaki sauce and rice.  I'm stumped as to what we'll have tonight, though.  Haven't been shopping yet... and all we have is cabbage and curry powder.

Ok its time for an update, today Tuesday 15th Sept at 10.20am  Australia Time I go back to the Hospital for my 4 week check up, thing is I still have a nasty infection and hasnt cleared up I had a course of antibiotics but still no good hopefully  My surgeon will come up with something to help  rid me of this rotten thing. I feel rotten and just not myself.

If they put mesh in, make sure the mesh isn't infected. If it is, it'll have to be removed, then a course of antibiotics and then replacement....when it's healed and clear of infection.

I'm sure everything will be just fine Mrs. S.   Chin up!!

I'm going again tomorrow (Tuesday), to get the results of my Nuclear tests(?!) Then they can decide what they're gonna do to fix me! Fun Fun Fun!! B[]

Well at this stage I have to go back in for more day surgery, aparently I had a reaction to the tape and the stiches in side the wound  and I need to get that cleared up with out antibiotics? and then they will clean it out and cut the stiches from  the inside  and if need be they will drain it,  and if I  start feeling hot and cold then its straight to the Hospital, thing is while I was up there today I told them  that I have been  hot then cold and nothing was said, I am told I should hear something within 2 weeks to have this  fixed fingers crossed

You are in mine and i sure everyones thoughts and prayers.  Get well soon. :sun:

yes doc its the mesh  omg i hope  theres no infection there , hot and cold    and being dizzy, feeling sick this is all the things I told  the dr but it was like bugga this we will get you back in bout 2 weeks and do something then , but in the mean time if this gets worse come back to the Hospital, Thats pretty much how I was treated. surley  this  cant be right. the wound is hot too the touch and is red and angry too  im worried  and I cant help it . sorry for  being a winger but its just so sore .. thanks for listening :*

why do the public Hospitals have to be so slow, even when they say you will hear something in the next few days, hahaha I have come to the conclusion that they have conspiracy against  everyone waiting to get minnor things done }:)

Both reactions to stiches and infection could yield a swollen, red wound. Antibiotics help when you know which bug it is and get a report on which drugs it is not resistant to. From your generalized symptoms, I'd suspect infection and want to rule that out first. Cultures should be taken from inside the wound, antibiotics started and then modified per the report.

No conspiracy...just poor organization and procedures and probably just one person being told to do the job of three.

I do hope it isn't infection, sweety. I tend to be a pessimist and try to eliminate the worse possibilities first.

Love to ya from the States.  :inlove:
