A new case: Antec 900, Antec 1200, or anything better?

A new case: Antec 900, Antec 1200, or anything better?

I am looking for a new case as the one i have now has terrible airflow. A sinlge 120mm fan and one 80mm fan in odd locations. Also, one of my graphics cards (9800gtx+) just about touches the hard drive.

So i looked aroung and found that the Antec 900 case has some very good reviews, and the Antec 1200 has some even better reviews, but i wanted to get opinions from actual, helpful people rather than reading customer reviews that boil down to "I LOVED IT!!!" or "THIS CASE IS EVIL!!!"

I have in my current case:

 a 790i mobo from evga

2 9800gtx+ graphics cards

Core 2 quad q6700 processor

Arctic cooling freezer 7 pro hsf for the cpu

2 gb of ddr3 1600 RAM from supertalent

650 watt PSU

A dvd drive, a hard drive, and some assorted pci cards.

Anyone have any suggestions for getting the 1200 over the 900 or vice versa?

Maybe a completely different case?

And Thank You

This did not work out (ebay) so i am once again on the hunt for a case

Get a 902. It's the EXACT same as the 1200, just smaller. It should fit everything you need if the 1200 is too pricey.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129058&Tpk=antec%20902

I checked out the case, But i have actually found 1200s for cheaper than the 902, not by much mind you (~$10). I will see if i can get any good deals on it, thanks lazear.

Anymore case ideas from anybody? I am getting ready to put everything on cardboard and put it near the air conditioners.

Funny you should say that!!  I was thinking saving up all the bits that fell off pot scourers, sticking 'em all together with epoxy and making a case that way.

:-"

With my luck my gf's cat (named "Lil Miss Gorgeous -_- ) Would think the cardboard was a litterbox extension.

hmmmm.... but then it might get electrocuted.... }:)

Anyway, i looked at the antec skeleton and i dont know how they can market that as a "case" when its just a motherbaord tray thats open to everything.

Yeah I hate it, just junk as far as I am concerned.

To each his own. I have to admit that the sceleton certainly is original, and I guess there are quite some people that would like it just for aestetics. Not for me though, I just prefer a stylish quiet case with enough room.

The Skeleton is very original, but a case should protect the components and help to dampen noise. The skeleton could be replaced with a cookie sheet to put the mobo on and a fan blowing at it.

Better watch your step around that thing....

I would say the Haf 932 is one of the best, mainly due to because i have it, but also because it is awesome, with 3 230mm fans, and 1 140mm i believe, it is quiet and cool. I dont push my rig too much. but just idle its at 34c. If you want you can put up to like 12 120mm fans in. You can even have bottom case fans since you can mount the power supply on the top OR bottom and the wheels have like an inch of space underneath. If you get the right motherboard you can load up its 7 expansion slots, 6 5 and one half bays, and the numerous hard drive bays. That 10.5 inch card is no problem, with my gtx 285, i have at least 2 inchs of space on the side.

Thanks ShotGun, im still going back and forth between the Haf 932 and Antec 1200, but i will definently look into the Haf more.
