I saw the Pressurized DX Theme from Redneckdude/PDJ and wanted to make a blind from it. I just knew the graphics would make a great start menu. You can get it here.
The gauge and the knob on the start menu are animated, and at some point on this project, I'm going to try my hand at animated steam...wish me luck. 
Vista version is done.
I'm going to make the grungy, rusty substyle next, then the XP versions.

Honestly, I'm really not looking forward to skinning for XP, Vista and 7, all for one windowblind...it's going to be like making 3 blinds every time. As it is, this one is two styles and the plan is to make them for XP and Vista, so there will be 4 blinds in this one....

Help me choose....
I really can't decide which way to go. Each one presents it's own advantages and disadvantages for the skin, so, which do you like?
I love version 3 from the top....but the top version is way cool also...You, my dear, are a super skinner! You read my mind with these. Completely! 
This is a really fantastic skin, Xiandi! I love all the little details. Your skinning skills are amazing.
Wooow! Amazing work!! I think the first one is a bit too dark, and those with the yellowish green tone would probably annoy me, they look a bit too chemical waste-ish. So number 3 or number 5 are my votes.

The only thing that'll limit things in the start panel will be the hardcoded print. Rats on hardcoding!
Might have to go with 'white' if you do the darker rust...
