We have reservations for space here if the Florida economy doesn't pick up. Roomy, well ventilated and maintained by the county.
You're certainly correct about that....but even with our humor, and our great good fortune, we shouldn't forget those less fortunate than ourselves whom we don't know, and those among us whom we do know and care a good deal about. Sorry to put a crimp in the thread, but truly...I had a terribly hollow and guilty feeling when I saw the picture Ed posted.
Well, it is a meager dwelling compared to some of these, but I will take a few pics tomorrow and post .

Moms house, I live here....I think I would be living under Ed's bridge if I weren't here with Mom ....but this works out, since Mom needs someone to look after her!!! 
This is mine. I spent 2 weeks doing some landscaping and trimming the bushes. I've been here 40 years.

Barb....now I know where those frozen windows were....very nice, sweety! and also very nice you're taking care of your Mom....especially nice considering today's Mother's Day.

@ Jim: Yep...Ruff and Ruffer...I like it Jim! Do I see a DX button instead of a door bell? Looks like a park or golf course behind your house, Jim...and the yard is well manicured. When I'm out tomorrow, I'll take some pix of the new house...nicer than the winter.

No Doc, Just my back yard, a field beyond that, and a four lane HWY. My garden, as yet unplanted, is the bare patch. My backyard I posted in the winter was actually my Inlaw's backyard, they live across the street from me. Behind me in this picture. My back is to their property.
Yes, TBC , they are good watch dogs, and there, they are watching me. They bark alot, but no one can sneak up on us in the night.
