After seeing the popularity of transparent themes in the past few months I thought it was time for me to put my own version of the concept together. Hopefully I can do it justice, and provide a high quality Master skin with my own take on it.

The basic concept is a stripped down, very transparent, very fast WB that is perfect for screenshotting and showcasing wallpapers

There will be zero bevels or gradients, all the buttons will be flat and designed to be more like a touch screen interface.

It will have a white text and black text start menu substyle for use with light or dark wallpapers.

Heres a small screeny of what I have after a couple of days, I'll try to expose more as I strip it down. :hot:

The dark one will be a seperate skin, 'Naked - Noir'

I have to redo many if the elements from original PSD's re-cut and reimport, also after renaming the skin the vista version is gone, so in addition, the vista version is a from scratch project also. It will however be a bit cheaper as some elements I do not have to mod or change.

I can promise ya, I'm not getting rich, In fact the more I skin, the poorer I seem to get.

No worries, able and willing to pay a bit for quality. And I know, there is hard work involved in a WB skin nowadays. ;)

I wish someone would make an IP set that were all text, reflected, really would like to see a full comprehensive set of those.  very minimal, but pretty cool IMO

You mean a complete IP set like the ones on my bottom dock JG, or something a bit more intricate?

Umm.. ok.. :D

 

White Russians, Haggis, smoked canned oysters w\ hot sauce, Malted milkshakes, that first walk into a new girlfriends room (Al Pacino), waking to a GOOD hair day, umm.. :|   perfectly sunny days, no clouds, no wind 80F at the beach... Drakkar noir cologne, a good nights sleep, a good mirror (we always look different in different mirrors (I think), prawn cocktail crisps,  hell, I could go on all day, hopefully that's enough... :P

oh yeah, one more... the perfect theme. :sun:

Pretty much Naked is the perfect theme.  I'm finding out today just how awesome it is to use as a template!  vStyler...I owe you big time.

Finally got naked!  Found a set of icons called 'Glass' by Asect...works fairly well. You can see all the way through most of the icons to the desktop.  Pretty cool.

That's a great set Wolfie!  Don't forget to get the extras for that pack too.

The Denim Plastic set by Haptork has a nice frosted glass look to it as well.

Tell you what though, the only IP set that's actually made with alpha blending that I know of is Skinhit's Universal Darkness!
