Yeah this is kinda old news and its called dragonball kai. It's a remastered edition of Z and has cut Z down to around 100 episodes.

 

Pretty pointless. Then again so was DBZ

was gunna say.. this is an OVA more than an episode but it's still new none the less and man I'm pumped for DBK. now the freiza fight will go from 35 epsiodes down to like 4 or 5 :P

 

and as for the DBZ is/was pointless, I feel sad for you .... poor poor non funloving person! :P Your inner child has died.

If I recall correctly, the Dragonball series was not know for their consistency, especially the movies. Goku being alive might be one of the slip ups.

Besides, the episode (near the begining) mentioned this was 2 years after Majin Boo caused trouble. Maybe they brought Goku back to life for this episode only to kill him off again when consistency matters.
