OK, I noticed someting earlier, I don't know if it's a bug or what. I was playing as federation, and a klingon scout came in, which I immediately attacked... then about 6 more came in along with a capital ship... an Emperor I think, I don't have all the ship names memorized yet.
Anyway, taking down the capital ship was a real bitch, and a lot of fun.
But the first scout that came in just wouldn't die. I don't know what happened, the shields turned all black, so it looked like a little black bubble flying around, and it seemed none of my ships were firing on it or hitting it.
Question: is this a bug, or do some klingon ships have a cloaking device that I wasn't aware of?
Ahhh, I wondered if that could be it... Sneaky!
So I can also assume the Federation doesn't have access to that technonogy?
Right, it's the klingon B'rel that has the cloak just_jim, and yes as the federation you do not have access to this technology.
Just wanted to say spent the time reading through the posts and am really looking forward to playing the final release when it comes out. Keep up the good work guys!

So if I follow TREK guidelines, I just have to wait for the B'rel to drop it's shields to fire at me and BLAMO!!! hehehe

To all the beta testers we need you to stay OFF Live sync till further notice, shimmers hard drive went to RIP, so untill he gets back up and running they wont be any more updates. The only reason we ask you to stay off sync as if you log on all your files may be removed and we need you to keep testing in the mean time 
either way err yea some of the borg stuff is from voy times like the unicomplex and the other starbase style stations the borg have more than 1 
but other than that most of it have had to make up out of my head !

Loki, I understand keeping away from Voyager, but honestly I think you'd have to draw on some of it to make the Borg bases accurate. I won't lie, I got goosebumps when I saw the screenshot of the one you guys made for this Mod... I can't imagine jumping into a Grav Well and seeing that monster surrounded by cubes and spheres... TOO COOL!!!
Oh hey, that just made me think... you guys should design a Borg Homeworld!!! Adding another planet shouldn't be too hard. Hate to mention Voyager again, but there were a couple assimilated Borg Planets if I remember right...

btw the borg as they are in the mod are from a back up so they are not up to date yet so the unicomplex is not in
I caught that when I signed on my computer today, can't wait to try them out! 
I am also glad to hear that there are plans for them to be in the initial release of the next version, so let me go and test'em out!!!
Umm, ok, maybe it's just my comp, but I can't seem to play as the Borg. Still only have the fed and klingon to choose from.
nah they could be disabled as i said its from a back up before we took them out before the beta testers joined
either way ill do some updating to them tomorrow and they are not balanced whatsoever, ill enable them in a moment
if you are going to play vs them (as in AI) set them to Unfair defensive or Unfair eco
as i said ill update them tomorrow with the latest version i got that sorts some stuff out so the AI will be improved

Ok you cant play as the borg just yet
the back up just added the files is all nothing else changed i cant update the mod with the borg stuff untill shimmer gives me rights again to edit files in sync so as soon as i get those rights back ill update the borg so you can play them and get your asses whooped by them and to all those capital spammers that love to make just 1 type of ship or capital aka sovie IT WILL FAIL TRUST ME 16 Sovies FAIL Epically vs the unicomplex or capital borg starships you need a well mixed fleet my mate did this to me the other day i just sat there loling at him as he watched those ships die or get assimilated
remeber this vs the borg you need frigates and cruisers and capitals to win

Entrenchment is a must buy, 10$ makes it silly not to buy it. I bought it the moment it was released, same as I pre-ordered and beta tested Sins for a bit. 
Major Stress: I bet that gets frustrating a bit, bug reports about mini dumps usually can only be understood by the coder who made the game, or someone who is an avid programmer. Keep up the great work, I been wanting a decent star trek mod for Sins from the start. Thanks for all your hard work, to bad these forums are so hard to access.

Edit: I am downloading your old Mod putting it on our server for another mirror. File Front will delete that file after 30-60 days no activity. No, I don't think they are releasing it just yet (still a few more things to balance before it is worth that). I was commenting on the fact us beta testers are going to finally get a chance to see what Loki has poured his heart and soul into.

how do you bild the borg star base again? cant remember been avay for a while, i have tried using every ship i have seen but no one shows a sign of the star base, afther resertc of corse, so please how do you get it. thanks

I can see why Major Stress and Darkshimmer didn't have them in before, and why you have been warning us to fear them, they are mighty powerful!!!! I think that what I like about them that is unique is that you have need for only one ship against pretty much any armada.
Quick question, are they going to have to research their ships just like the other races too? I kinda hope so, because even though the tactical cube is really expensive, it would be a major bummer to see that on the field at the start of a game (resistance in this case definitly being futile LOL).
Anywho, I don't know if it was you fully responsible for the textures for all the ships and structures, but whoever is I thank them because they did a fantastic job!
