well, since this thread is as official as it will get: thank you IC for making a great addition and thank you SD for helping them along!

and now take a few days off, enjoy your lives again, families etc. that's an order!

btw. does anyone else think that sd moving into the pitchfork business would not make such bad sense? announce a delay here and there and you will even cash in on ppl freakin out.

They'd have to fight me for it. And I'm not afraid to scratch.

hey, I bought entrenchement, but when i clicked install on impulse, it said that i need to update impulse. I searched around the top (explore, community, updates, etc.) but couldn't find anything regarding the update. then, remembering that when i open impulse, it installs updates on its own, i close impulse (that may have been the mistake). I open it back up again, it installs the update, but now entrenchment is gone. It appears that i need to buy it again. Is there anything that i can do besides buying it again and hoping it works?:'(

I can't remeber but are you able to by  entrenchment on a CD at stores, or is it only downloadable. I rather like it when things have mass.

It's download only, but you can make an archive to burn on disk.

I hope you guys make tons of money from this!  I can only speak for myself, but I've bought it for three people (myself included, of course).

Is there a manual for this expansion? I didn't find any.

Thanks your help.

How do I do that?  I bought entrenchment and installed it, (btw, its AWESOME!) but I'd like to burn it to CD to put with my Sins DVD.

Thanks!

Use Impulse to Archive it, then burn the archive to disk.

Thanks Nakor. I did order it under a different account. But I used the registration code that I found in the email and registered it. Now it works!

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm having trouble finding the archive to burn it.

I right  clicked on entrenchment in impulse, clicked on archive, it did the archive and then that was it.

Where do I find it now?

Thanks!

It's not really obvious. I found it by accident while cleaning junk from my computer. Had no idea why that folder was so big.

C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Impulse\backup

On Vista at least.

I found the file, thanks!

It's an odd file with no real executable....so it's basically worthless since there's no way to activate it.

Frustrating that it didnt come as a zip or an exe etc.

(one of the main reasons why buying a hard copy is the preferred way to go)

So where is the manual that covers all of the new stuff?

Need to have Impulse installed to use the archive file.

I'll probably be releasing an update guide tomorrow. Just been really busy today making sure the launch went smooth and stable.
