Burning the flag like that makes me sick. That rally/ wannabe riot was based on pure hatred. I mean, burning an imitation of Bush? That's just sick.

They should have shot each and everyone of them that were found to be part of the flag burning! They don't love america? Then they can leave!

Greywar, thank you for posting these pictures. They are frightening and though-provoking.

Dr. Miler - Your comments are also frightening and thought provoking. Lets not flop down to the protestors level shall we? That is something that could have easily been said by one of these same guys. Shooting our own citizens? I think not.

It is tempting

and totally counter productive.

Check out Deadzombie's comment over here to see an example of a righti hack doing just what Dr. Miler did here. Way to shoot your own political agenda in the ass folks.

Don't try to tell me that if the oportuinty was presented to you that you would not be tempted. Alright maybe not shot, but oh i dunno.... slap the hell out of them? I supportted the anti-flag burning proposal.

you would not be tempted

I am tempted daily and don't. It is the ability to resist the impulse physical violence against the folks who just don't agree with us that separates us from the animals and Saddam Hussein.

Burn the flag? Have at it, but don't be shocked when I brand you un-american. I support your right to do so but I won't pull any verbal punches or engage in dyslogia to explain your actions.

My words exactly. Burning the flag and saying it's your way of showing the ultimate freedom of expression is crap as far as I'm concerned. (But get to it if that's your thing, but I'll be enjoying my freedom of expression when you're done.) And so is going on about wanting to kill/harm the pres or getting ridiculous about seceding. And then trying to make arguments about those sorts of topics and not even being able to spell the damn words right (this goes for claiming that court 'marshals' are unconstitutional, too) makes you appear even more like the a$$hat that you are! So is saying that we should shoot people for saying such things. Inability to spell is not a sign of intelligence, you moron!!! I mean, if you're going to start off with a strike or two against yourself by spewing ridiculous crap, at least spell it correctly!!!

HOLY CRAP! The inner troll got loose... sorry about going off like that...

Feel free to burn away, but don't come traipsing in my yard to do it. That would allow me the legal means to show how I feel about your anti-Americanism.
Can you tell i'm listening to old Metallica? Makes my cranky genes act up!

I have absolutely NO tolerance for those that burn our flag. To me the flag is more than just a mere symbol. Although it is symbolic of all those that died under her, making it what it is today. To me it is an intergral part of America and what our great country stands for. To me burning the flag would be tantamount to spitting on it. You would get the same knee-jerk reaction. A swift punch in the mouth.

And should I or any of my military brethern be there to provide security for such a demo and witnessed you striking someone who wasn't breaking a law or committing violence your ass would be welcome to a hearty stay in jail and I would apologize to the protestor in question. Not agreeing doesn't equal an excuse to hurt or kill. Figure it out.

Thankfully for the most part you wouldn't be. That's a police function. And most police that I know personally feel the same way. To the point of not seeing the *supposed* altercation. I'm sorry you don't feel the same way. But I've had close friends and family die defending old Glory! and I would not see their memory shit on by some punk who thinks what he's doing is funny or cool!

Still no excuse to beat them or advocate shooting them. Down that road lies Iraq, The Janjaweed, and Brownshirts.

Okay I am getting sick and tired of Pseudo Anarchist posers, good lord Anarchy says nothing about supporting the left and the Black Bloqers are jackasses anyways but they are truer to the ideals of Anarchy than the Left Poser Anarchists...grrrr.

I think it instead of being shot, slapped, etc. the participants of such a woeful demonstration of how to protest in a Democracy need to see a Psychologist and be in therapy for several years until the idiocy of their mental sets are fixed.

Where is Sigmund Freud when you need him?

Grimarl Xung

Psychological Therapy Plinko for the Smacktards!!

Me, id rather see them in public than met behind closed doors.....

Me too, I love it when the wierdest of the wierd come and spew on here. Nothing hurts their causes more than their own words.

They have the right to say what they like. And I have the right to call them idiotic asshats. So here goes.

They're idiotic asshats. And their sign-making skills are pathetic. And mmmm........they smell like kimchi.

But I like kimchi.

Radish kimchi = good. Cabbage kimchi = bad. Cucumber kimchi = good.

Okay, they smell like the goose truck down by shit creek in the fish market in uijongbu. better?

singing......I left my brains......in san fransisco, I burn the flag.............I'll kill you all.......... on the cable cars....... stacking bodies to the stars..............that's where we burn bush in effigy.............

While I respect these people's right to do these things, I personally find it low, disgusting, and pathetic. I find burning the flag to be an offensive and crass way of showing dissent. The whole thing just makes me sick. I think these people are probably spoiled brats who have no understanding of how very fortunate they are to be living in this country. Disgusting.

I think you are dead on in this assessment.

i dont support their burning the flag. i do support their right to do it. but still, i was angry, but i wouldnt burn a flag and secede because a guy i hate won the elections. even the civil war had a better reason than that!

mmmm......actually, while naturally it hinged on the issue of slavery, states rights, and the ruling on Frederick Douglas, that's exactly the straw that broke the camel's back and started the civil war.........of course, look where it got us.
