In a way I have to agree with this, people don't have a right to tell others what they can post, but there is a line here, Even though Howdidudothat is a great person to get advice from and puts out great opinions, he has gone a lttle to far to post it publicly, let people figure it out on there own, let others push them out to be ignored, complain about it online, not here, this is where people come to find how great this game is and when they see his post, they will think multiplayer sucks.

You really have no idea what the true irony of this entire thread is...  To appreciate the irony, you need to know who the people at issue are from first-hand experience playing with them, which, coincidentally, I do.

Ok, so this is going to be my only post to this thread, that way it doesn't get any more attention than it deserves.

1. If you feel a thread is worth reporting, there are proper ways of doing so.  This isn't one of them.
2. The reason you are on the blacklist is because of another stupid post you made (https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/335784).  What you described in this post: a_) Can't actually happen, and b_) even if it could, I know the [_] guys and they don't do that crap.
3. No one has to follow my blacklist.  Heck, I don't even follow it considering I just played itsmavic last night.  My point of the blacklist is to indicate what you may be facing if you see those names while you are making teams.  I made sure itsmavic wasn't on my team, that simple.

Ok, that's all I have to say.

It's fairly shocking, at least to me, that it took so long for the original thread to be locked; it should have been deleted instead.

I find it funny that the blacklist thread was started by snoop's whining and was ended by his whining.  He got a worse reputation by making up BS than anything he did in game.  I'm guessing he didn't expect it to backfire quite the way it did.  It doesn't really matter that the thread was locked because its purpose was served as far as snoopdogga is concerned.  The reputation you have as that name is already damaged.  Of course you could always start a new one and likely have.  It's entirely possible that I have played you already on some smurf.  I have paid attention myself to the blacklist but that doesn't mean that everyone will shun you.  I have played with some on the black list as well.  I mostly pay attention to ones my clanmates have had issues with.  Locking or deleting the thread will have no impact on whether I play with you as snoopdogga though.  I still won't do it.

Where do you live China? I think he has every right to make his own blacklist if he wishes.  If people choose to enforce his blacklist,t hat's up to them.  You don't agree? Then make your own game and let those people in!

Secondly, you can have unlimited amount of names in the game, just 5 at a time.  You can make new names any day of the week.  So really his blacklist only stops the stupid and the lazy.

Well I am pro Blacklist. Though it doesn't have to be posted anylonger because it has served its purpose. However the Blacklist thread should not have been locked at all. Especially because of single players and new comers who, for obvious reasons, have no clue what competitive online players go through on a daily basis. You want a relaxing game? Play single player so u can save and and go back to play later and never have to concern yourself with these issues. We who have our own list and encouraged Howudothat to post one enjoy competitive gameing. We try to discourage new players and casual players from joining our games by giving titles like skilled, no newbies, etc. I have many of my list that I don't allow in games that I host because even as an opponent, if they don't quit i have to play a 4 hour game that was decided in 1. I will play agaist other players like itsmevic in FFA's only because they can wreck any team game with thier disruptive game play. ( And I get to kill him for threating me lol ) There are players who are on my personal list that I would puton a posted list because there are too new or not everyone would agree ect. There are friends that game on sins that, on thier word, I would add disuptive players to my list. People like drunken master, US Navy, John James, and so on. Some clan players could have clan reasons for blacklisting that i mihgt not agree with but I would still look out for who they mentioned. Players like Chaostheory and SlingShot aka ?! should be taken off list by fixing conection problems, or stoping thier crazy behavior in game ect. Other players like itsmavic would have to make amends over time, to alot of players to get off. I have omitted IG from the list because of personal experince with him and chating with him and one of the offended parties in what appears to be an isolated incedent. I also omitted Snoopdaggo because I didn't see any in-game offences.

In no specific order:

Bksabath - Don't speak Enlish or doesn't know how to use chat. In either case, he doesn't know how to play as a team. If you go head to head with him, he plays ok though

chaostheory - Isn't as good as record suggests, and disconnects often

itsmavic - weird behavior, odd tacktics, and won't quit even when the game is clearly over. Will wreck skilled game. Password should be used when he is online. will leave team at any point. Will whisper threats of hacking your computer and "seeing how deep your pocket book goes" etc if you don't let him in your game so he can wreck it

Mysins - won't quit even when there is no chance of winning.

CiniX - won't quit, evenwhen he dosen't have a single ship or planet. Makes you kill every AI planet

1024Jon - super rude noob who will join a skilled game and will not leave just keep geting a slot and thus crashing game before is can be launched. chat spammer, password should be used when this player is online

Charlie Murfy - super rude noob skilled game wrecker. chat spammer, password should be used when player online

SlingShot aka ?! - rude skilled ego nut. will abandon team the second something doesn't go his way. Leaves before game is decided.

Aravik - will not quit when game is clearly over even when his whole team has surrendered.

Like I said there are more on my personal list but don't think they warrent a post.

So for those out there that don't agree, I'm sorry, but this has been on-going and will continue. The list will never die, but will only expand and contract with player activity. My guess is that the list will grow proportional to online attendance.

Howdidudothat's thread is now locked. I should have made this thread sooner, but honestly I did not think he would get so many responses from our community to his stupid list. I would have liked for the thread to be completely removed, but at least he won't be able to slander more players from now on. I hope.

There is no reason on this entire planet to get this upset over a game. People, its not real, shut the pc off and get some fresh air. This is for entertainment. If your that serious about your ladder position or etc, really you need to get away. So blacklist away folks, maybe you will grow up someday.

utterly and totally agree.  We are all here to have fun not falsly shame others.  This looks bad to all new comers and really puts a bad taste in your mouth.  Again, just enjoy the game.

Man such a nicely thoughout post and well written to.  It's almost like being in a high school cafeteria sitting next to the pom pom girls as they gossip about the days events.  This game "Howdidudothat" is cleaning up SINS, he's cleaning it up so much people are leaving because they are appauled by the Multi-player community here.  Athilus you shouldn't speak so confidently as if you could just kill me on a whim in a game, your decent but your not that good.  People need to step off their high horse and come back down to reality.  Point being this game is meant to be played by everyone, it's a community of friendly gamers, or so I thought it was, all this blacklist crap and all these false accusations are more damaging than actual gamers that do give the game a bad wrap. Boy this sounds like your talking to your shrink mev. I just want you to post one thing. Did you not say what i quoted? Did you not do what i cited? I want to here you say it. You were on my list way before how made post. You will do 1 of 3 things mev: Not acnowledge this, Not post on this thread again, or say how something else transpired and that I'm blowing it all out of proportion. But even you won't say its all made up. You are more psychiatrically savey than that. All inocent gamer and all. "here to have fun" yeah, too bad your fun is always at another players expense. The blacklist was already dealt with; as noted there it is not helpful to single players out and ostracize them based on some isloated report or arbitrary criteria. Unless there's some new blacklist elsewhere, there should be nothing more to discuss about that. If you guys want to keep fighting over it, take it private or drop the matter, we won't have it here (or on ICO).

OTOH If you want to make lists giving positive, constructive feedback on other users, that's fine, but make certain to keep it that way; no insults or allegations.
