2nd blind attempt

I began this new theme about 3 weeks ago.

I wanted to do a dark skin, but I didn't want to do glass. Glass can be over done. I wanted something more original. Also, I didn't want to do the black/blue combo. Though those colors look great together, once again, it can be over done.

Then I began to think back to when I first bought WindowBlinds... how I searched for a carbon fibre skin, and was left wanting...

When complete, this theme will also include ObjectDock backgrounds, a RightClick, and possibly a cursor (if I get the guts! :D )

BTW- If you notice in the screeny above, my menus are supposed to have rounded corners, and are supposed to be nice and clean; and they are except for in Firefox 3. Can anyone shed some light as to why? What am I doing wrong?

im about 60% done too for my intoxica wb.....looks like we might have ours out at the same time.....*wicked*....im currently in residing in animation hell city.....seeing the end result is always worth it....its just the work involved....meh, ill get over it.

Thanks everyone! I've been using this (almost) every day since I began skinning it, and I like how it's coming. I can't wait for the dark substyle! :w00t:

Mg...This one's gonna take over for Prowler WSX...until WebGizmos gets the courage to ask you for permission to do the Winstep Extreme version  ;) :rofl: .

This really has all the earmarks of a Master Skin. It's a great, great skin!

 

As for the FF rendering?

It's centered by the edge and the first icon in quicklaunch, shouldn't it be centered by the edge and the first toolbar divider?

No, not just you...it was noted (on p. 2) and Mg said he was fixing it, I believe.

Maybe this most recent screeny is betraying me or something; I assure you that I have fixed it and it is perfectly centered. I have examined it in Photoshop and also in use.

OH! I see now! o_O

I believe the issue before was how the carbon fibre orb was positioned on top of the metal ring. That is fixed.

You are talking about the horizontal positioning of the button as a whole. My start button is in the default position, however I can move it...

Any images you have will help get he process started...it's not like docks that I can whip out in a few minutes...these take a few days or more. So when your up to it send me what you got...working skin or not...images are just fine. Psds...pngs...whatever. ;)

Where have you been? The entire suite has been in the galleries for days. Docks, walls, logon, boot, cursor,xion, and DX theme...lol. RC skin on the way. I'll send you some psd's.    Meanwhile....https://forums.wincustomize.com/341328
