yeah just read the book that came wit it if you got the retail version but there is also a story on this website

If the enemy of the Vasari are coming, I doubt they will reach TEC space before Vasari space, meaning, I think they will come from the side the Vasari are at and not where the TEC is.

i'm not talking about the race that is chasing the vasari

and besides why does everyone think there is some super powered race chasing the vasari? nowhere in the manual does it say that they are being chased, what happened is some unknown race kicked their ass so they turned tail and ran. it states that the beacons left fell silent, even though it says their unknown adversary continues its march toward their extermination that is merely an assumption made by the vasari anything could have happened to those warning beacons

and if they were being chased wouldn't it make sense to write that race into the expansion

If you read the lore it says the Vasari are in a race to out run there past so im feelin like they have tec advent situation going on.  consider this when they were expanding there empire thousands of years ago they happend on a race of people that had near god like powers but were still planet bound but advancing at an stagering rate.  the vasari try to get them to come into the empire by acting nice and promising to give them new space tech, but they always just intended to inslave them and use them as shocktropers in there planettary assults, but they soon come to relise that a race this powerfull could never be controled like that. so the vasari, knowing that this races power far exceded its own so they pushed them out into space hoping that they would just go away.  they went about there businus for a few thousands years and forgot about the other race, but they were ploting since the second they found out that they had been betrayed and they put all there resorces in to war machines and thousands of years later they are ready for their assult of the Vasari with the most powerfull and terfiying ships the galaxy has ever seen.  the vasari dont stand a chance and there worlds start droping like flies the vasari send a few ships in to control what they think is a rebelion.  when the ships dont respond they know its serious and send in the whole fleet in and when only one ship comes back and the crew has gone insane with terror they know they have to run.  they lose contact with the becons they leave behind and cont stay in one place for long because they are being chased by an immensly powerfull race strong enough to make even the most battle hardend soldiors mad with terror, that is hell bent on forcing them to atone for there sins as a solar empire. 

running away from their past doesn't mean they exiled some godlike race with no space flight capabilities(which makes no sense) if u read carefully, if a race with that kind of technological superiority was discovered they were either exterminated or harshly enslaved. plus it says the unknown enemy, if it was a race that was exiled they would know who it is and it only supports what i said, the vasari have no proof of being chased only fear that they are being hunted to extinction. and it was probably some race with far superior technology conquering more territory.

Everything has pointed to the Vasari's enemy being something of their own creation.  The opening video begins with a Vasari research base before describing their exodus, and most accounts indicate that whatever it is, they made it.

Well would that mean that what the Vasari are running from would be advent-esque?  Or could it be some sort of ancient race that is even older than the Vasari that they somehow awakened or provoked or unintentanlly brought from another galaxy?

For all we know they could have opened a phase lane to hell and unleashed demons upon the universe, a la Doom.

TEC = Humans (obviously)

Vasari = Goa'uld

Advent = Ori

Mystery race chasing the vasari = Replicators

And if there was a race who was an enemy of them, as suggested above, they'd be the Asgard.

does anyone know of a map of the terrortory that each race holds in the galaxy?  That information would help with the creation or give an explanation for the emergance of any sort of race that might come in next instalments.  It is kinda hard to tell the extent of each empire in the story they give us in the manual because the game and story are not really linked in any way, as well as the fact the large maps that you can play are 20ish stars and that is no galaxy. That is one thing that would help a little with the involvement of each race by giving us a map of their terrotory.
