Now maybe I am getting too cynical about SNL but...

did Eminem just lip synch Mosh?

I was just watching Eminem perform Mosh on SNL.... and it sounded WAY too close to the video version. I mean, it was almost exactly the same as what was on the video, and at one point I could have sworn he pulled the mike away from his mouth, and he was still singing(it might have been his own backing vocal though). I can't prove it conclusively, but it looked like he was.

The irony is that SNL has been really ripping into Ashlee Simpson all show.... and if he did lip synch, well, it makes them look even worse.

I believe ALOT of artists lip-sync during concerts. Have you ever watched Britney Braziers bounce around on stage and never miss a note?

And that makes it right? I don't think so.

Never said it did/did not.
Kinda like that Dancin' Chicken at the fair. Everyine thinks it is talented cause it dances to music. While all along it is just the dude turnin up the heat on the hotplate.

See, I am against lip synching both in theory and principle.... if you go to a concert, and they lip synch, I think you should be able to demand your money back, because that is not what is being advertised.

Right . . . otherwise it's listening to their CD loudly and looking at the "artists" from a distance through a haze of pot smoke while being grinded against by sweaty people you don't know.

I think it sort of depends on if you are paying for it or not....

Well, I wasn't talking about being a mosh pit....

wow... even a little off-topic, we still manage to name the song we are talking about.

. . . and now it has come full circle, hasn't it?

Seriously, though . . . mosh pits (or at least the floor space) at concerts are full of sweaty, jumping, grinding, pierced freaks who would be equally pleased to cop a feel or step on you . . . you know, whichever . . .

well, that is an oft heard complaint.... and I have heard that women have particular problems with roaming hands when they just crowd surf....
