Beta move up?

Beta move up?

In the latest journal entry (Are you Human? Are you sure?) it said this

I expect the first version of this to be included with Beta 1 of Elemental (i.e. this isn't some "future" thing) which we expect will be out this Spring.

Ok, I was wondering if this mean the beta has been moved up. Originally it was slated for June 09, but that is in the summer and not the spring. I was thinking that they might have moved it up because of the large interest in the game, but his could just be wishful thinking on my part....GOD I hope it has been move up XD

Hopefully the beta testers with 64-bit OS systems will be testing the very very large worlds to squash any heavy memory usage bugs and large map world bugs.

I know I plan to.   Got me my Win 7 + 8GB o RAM to do it.

Yeah, that's not going to be a problem. Based on the enthusiasm for that feature and the number of people who already have lots of ram, huge maps are going to get plenty of testing. That said, maps that are so long they require a month (or months) to play might not be played to conclusion very often due to beta updates breaking old games...

I would test also small Maps, no Probelm here even with 64 Bit OS.

Just  hand me over a download link!

I finally broke down and upgraded my computer :).

I decided to give Vista 64bit a shot and have the new Core i7 processor with corresponding x58 MB and triple channel DDR3 memory (6GB total).  Now I should be all ready to play the huge maps whenever I can get in the beta :).

The months are actually flying by... maybe only 4 months to go!  I can't wait.
