For Halloween we had a ‘challenge’ for someone to create a version of the WinCustomize mascot, Winky, that is suitable for the holiday.  We saw some great entries, but there wasn’t much time given for this, so I wanted to start earlier for the Christmas and Holiday versions.

The contest is simple.  Create a Christmas and/or Winter Holiday version of Winky that we can use for news postings, articles, etc.  You can simply take the image above and use that as your base, or design an entire new image.  Please note this is not replacing our mascot, it’s just a challenge to “dress him up” a bit for the holidays and have a bit of fun.  Images should be at least 128x128, and posted to the comments in this thread only.

We will accept entries until Thursday, December 4th at 11:59.  This time, we will let our moderators take a turn at determining the winner.

Winner will get their choice of one of the following:

  • 1 year subscription/renewal to WinCustomize.com
  • WindowBlinds 6
  • ObjectDock Plus

Whoops! I'm sorry I put my foot in it...I'm not of your faith, so I never really saw any of those movies. Please accept my apology? Ignorance isn't an excuse...I should have realized that with your skill b&w was the intent. I thought (hmmm) you were 'floating' the basic idea and looking for suggestions from genius experts like yours truly.

Doc, you HAVE to rent "It's a Wonderful Life" and watch it just once, because it's a classic, not just for Christmas time, but for always.  It's much less about a person's faith of choice, and much more about what's truly important in life for everyone.
