For Halloween we had a ‘challenge’ for someone to create a version of the WinCustomize mascot, Winky, that is suitable for the holiday.  We saw some great entries, but there wasn’t much time given for this, so I wanted to start earlier for the Christmas and Holiday versions.

The contest is simple.  Create a Christmas and/or Winter Holiday version of Winky that we can use for news postings, articles, etc.  You can simply take the image above and use that as your base, or design an entire new image.  Please note this is not replacing our mascot, it’s just a challenge to “dress him up” a bit for the holidays and have a bit of fun.  Images should be at least 128x128, and posted to the comments in this thread only.

We will accept entries until Thursday, December 4th at 11:59.  This time, we will let our moderators take a turn at determining the winner.

Winner will get their choice of one of the following:

  • 1 year subscription/renewal to WinCustomize.com
  • WindowBlinds 6
  • ObjectDock Plus

They all look great, though I have to agree with the rest... Wow Libardo, your contributions are just ... I'm speechless... I just wish these challenges was slightly different... I have tons of ideas, but not the patience (or knowhow *yet* :p) to realize them... If they just focused on the idea rather than realization, I'd have a shot... hehe.

I vote that Libardo becomes a Stardock employee.  He has done nothing but wicked designs since he started uploading here.  His two Winky's here are awesome and if you haven't checked out his gallery, you should.  Keep up the great work mate, I see big things in your future. ;)
