Pre-Ordered and in it for the Long Haul: Sound Off
Ok, I'm all set! Now, let's sound off. Who all has pre-ordered and are actively monitoring the forums.

yes I pre-ordered, I love the turn based strategy games most of all, They seem to have fallen on the wayside the last half decade or so, I have played all the Civ's, played MOO 1, 2 & 3 (3 was not soo good). I really enjoyed Gal Civ2 and its expansions so I really hope this one delivers for the game play I prefer. I really don't care much for multi-player games as I don't often have that much time, I like to play a few turns and then save and come back later. Hopefully I can help out on the alpha.
I know, it's a real shame. I blame the RT"S" epidemic and short attention spans.
I pre-ordered 2 copies back in February..
I think I speak for everyone here...
Where the F are my Beta keys!?
You'll get it when they start the beta ...
I pre-ordered earlier this month.
Can't wait!
Preordered right away, the waiting is possibly going to kill me ![]()
If you die, can I get your alpha slot? ![]()
Now now, don't go around making people mysteriously disappear after getting their SD account information through sinister means of torture.
... That's my job.

It´s such a relief knowing they will charge when the beta is released. I was afraid of getting it charged on february/2010, and the dolar could be hiting the orbit at that time making the game cost too much...
I ordered over a week ago, but just found this thread. Can't wait till the beta comes out (doubt I will get into the alpha but you never know).
Late to the party, but here I am!
I'm later to the party. Yarlen made me pre-order today though.
And you have less excuse. Its pretty bad when one of the devs has to make you preorder when you're as involved as you have been.
I hope that Forgboy makes me participate in the alpha.
What?
I'm in. Ordered right after learning about the game at the end of June. Can hardly believe how giddy I am to get my mouse over a unit creation or faction design or whatever menu. In essence, this game is what the witchdoctor (pre-)ordered.
One of these days, maybe I'll stop procrista... procresta... aww shucks, maybe I'll stop taking my own sweet time.
Anybody have any idea how many pre orders Stardock has for Elemental so far?
I've wondered that myself.
Just preordered myself.
One thing that REALLY puts me off about strategy games is when the game is so complex I'm just overwhelmed with understanding what impact my actions are actually doing and I don't understand why I'm losing. The idea being that if I'm in from the early days I will get eased in to understanding the game as some of the best games I've owned have been turn based.
Pre-ordered!
Can't wait to give it a run, but I concur with someone earlier in the thread: WHERES MY BETA!!
Has anyone counted the number of individuals from this topic which have pre-ordered? I'd estimate it's around 200, but I'm just curious. My pre-order post is several pages back, but somewhere in here.
I used my 20% coupon they gave out to the early Demigod adopters and purchased Elemental. That was back in late May I believe. I simply have faith in Stardock games, whether they make 'em OR just publish them.

Hello! So I finally got round to pre-ordering.. I figured it was close enough now.. I mean unless the exchange rate like qudruples the price in a month I'm still gonna want in on the beta, and I figured this way there'd be no chance of me falling asleep and missing out ![]()
I too wonder how many preorders SD have got for Elemental so far and how well whatever number it is relates to their targets (if they have such things). I also wonder if they did any specific market research before embarking on this fantasy tbs adventure to see what sort of audience there is out in the big wide world for it or if (being the flamboyant artists that we know them to be) they just decided that if they made it good enough then an audience would appear ![]()
