Multiplier Connection Problems

Whenever I try to join a multiplayer game online I get an error about opening the UDP ports 6000 and 6112.  I did that and I still can't join a game.  I have even tried hosting a game, but then people tell em they get disconnected when they try and join.  How do I fix this so I can play online?

When you say you've "opened" those ports, I'm assuming you mean on a software firewall on your PC.

If you're behind a router (or a dsl/cable modem which also functions as a router) you'll need to "forward" the traffic on those ports to your PC as it's not even getting to your PC at the moment. Only "opening" the ports on your PC is HALF of the step you need to complete.
