us map won't show up, PLEASE HELP!!!

I'm having a problem with the map in the game. My game was downloaded from the internet. Every time after I choose my candidate and my opponent, and the game is loaded and ready to go, I get a pitch black screen where the map should be. The controls are all there and states can actually still be clicked on where ever they are in the black, but I can't see the map. I added 512 mb of memory and now have 1 gb, but it still doesn't work. Please help. Here's the debug.err:

Are you playin a store-bought copy, or one downloaded from us?

If it's a story copy, can you make sure to update to the latest version. There have been alot of fixes to memory usage, which sounds like it may be the problem.

Also, can you post the contents of your 'my documents/my games/pm2008/debug.err' file here for us to look at? Thanks!

Hey BCFan...I just replied to you in the 'Catch-All' thread. Do you see the intro graphics?  Or the moment it starts the game is it all white?

I suggest updating the 1.04, but if the game is ALWAYS white then we may have a more significant problem.
