So far both Kerry and Bush look pretty good. What do you think?

Agreed.  Bush does look much more relaxed than the other two.

Right now I would say Bush is winning overall.  Kerry sounds much more like a politician and Bush seems relaxed, confident and normal.

I like Bush's plan, I think Social Security will be dead, or worthless in a couple of decades. I'd rather get some of my money back into savings, than throw it down a hole with no return.

Now Kerry is sighing and shaking his head. It's almost a reverse of the first debate.  Very weird.

Except for the really bad joke Bush started to say about the networks.....he seems to be on fire tonight.

wait just a minute...Bush doesn't support alien amnesty? A lot of the parents of my ESL students seem to think he does...

Kerry seems tired or something. He just wants this to be over. I thought having 3 debates instead of 2 would favor Kerry. Looks like it might save Bush.

If Bush had been this way in the first debate, this election would be over.

What the hell does iris identification have to do with stopping illegal immigration?

"It's against the law to hire people illegally." Wow, what an insight Mr. Kerry. Any more informative remarks? Is selling illegal drugs also against the law? Is illegally taking items punishable by law? Are you sure he's the "intellectual" candidate?

Many of the "illegals" that we have to deal with in the school district are "multiple offenders." That means they've made more than one crossing. Iris ID could curb this. I'm really divided on this issue, I love my kids that make it here -- but iris ID is something that they are scared of, from my conversations with students.

Spc, judging by sentence structure alone, he IS the intellectual candidate.

I agree with the bad network joke, I think he realized 3/4 of the way through it that it sure wasn't going to make the moderator happy.

Moderator seems a bit biased for Kerry.  two questions in a row that were perfect for Kerry.

Kerry refuses to directly answer any question. His answer is: 1) agree with the question and its importance 2) blame the president for the horrible state the subject of the question is in 3) talk about some unrelated filler 4) say that his plan has it covered and he'll do it better

Ooh, that 1990 vote just came back to haunt Kerry. That's going to be the sound bite of the night. Ouch to Kerry.

And I'm sure that drug dealer obtained that AK-47 through legal means, and the assault ban really stopped him good.

Was thinking the same thing.  The Assault Weapon ban just expired. So that guy who had the AK47 got it illegally.

And isn't SENATOR Kerry in congress? Why hasn't he submitted a new assault weapons ban?
