Assuming I got in before the cut off -- which, as far as I know, hasn't been hit yet -- I fully intend to be deeply involved.

Insofar as I'm not busy with the Sins Expansion, I'm sure they're going to start the beta for that soon, too.

Oh well, whenever I get tired of one beta, I can jump to the other!

I plan on getting in on the Beta, I just need to finalize the pre-order with the "Boss".

Does Demi have an official (or unofficial for that matter) Ventrilo? I find the voice quality much better there than TS..

I preordered about the same day this site came up, I check in atleast once per day to see if there are any news about the beta.

Just registered here. Thinking about pre-ordering for the beta, but I'd like to know an exact date first and hope it's released before the cut off point.

Apart from having fun, it would be nice to root out 'cheesy' tactics that make it too easy to win, like in Mortal Kombat 2 where it can be beaten on the hardest difficulty if you just keep jumping backwards in a corner and doing a flying kick whenever the AI walked right into it. Even worked on the bosses. I know you have all done it.

Hopefully I'll be in it. I pre-ordered today. ^^

Wish I was. Its not worth $45 for a low frame rate and low graphics... I'll definitely get Demigod when I get a new computer (whether thats another beta, like sins had a few, or if its the final release).

I asked about this over on the Stardock/Galciv forums a while back, and they said that Gas Powered had said that he said that she said that this game is going to run a lot faster than Supreme Commander did.

I'm guessing this is some combination of them tweaking the engine and there being fewer units to handle.

Anyway, I pre-ordered right after they told me that...

I pre-ordered a while back. Looking forward to this, let's hope it lives up to the hype (of which there has thankfully been little).

Hopefully there's still time to join the beta. I'd love to but I've no way to actually pay for it. As my parents apparently don't trust credit cards or the internet. So i'll likely have to wait to see when/if it hits store shelves.
