Welcome to 7 Deadly Sins 2.5 FINAL for the latest version of Sins Entrenchment 1.053.
7DS can only be played at HIGH maximum settings. DO NOT USE VERY HIGH settings. This will cause a minidump. Also, there is an issue with Win7 64 bit. You will get crashes, load errors, or the game will not even play, with or without warning. Just keep reloading the game and trying until you actually get into the game and play. This is a Windows problem, not a problem with Sins or 7DS.

Trader Emergency Coalition- solely based on trade and swarming, with little military might
Corpo-Nations that have rebelled against the Trade Order. Their military might stripped, they have turned to allying themselves with various factions and hiring mercs for protection.
TEC has new Battlecruisers, mercenary contracts, and EMP shells that bypass shields to a small degree.
Trade Coalition Armada- the military arm of the Trade Order
Once the development arm of the Trade Order, they are now the last hope for the Trade Order and humanity. Their ships are bricks with extreme range railguns.

TCA has state of the art weapons on traditional capitalships plus the Dresden and Athena Dreadnought and Beta Kol Titan.
The Orion Unity- modified Orion and Advent Combine
Some Orion split with the Atlantian-Orion Combine to guide the Advent towards their ultimate evolutionary stage. TOU ships are stronger, faster and deadlier; They can even travel between worlds using the Phase Stabilizer technology of the Tempest Titan.
Ship research boosts weapon performance.

DARK FLEET- modified Vasari
The Dark Fleet is all that remains of the Vasari. Where the weak Exodus ran often and fought rarely, the Dark Fleet seeks total dominion through force of arms. Their 5 Titan ships roam looking for prey.
Play style is familiar with greater armor, firepower and destructive potential.

Imperial Armada- from Star Wars
Guided by a clone of General Thrawn, the wasteland armadas of the Imperial Armada can employ powerful Force Alchemical Technology and even unleash the power of the Executor Super Star Destroyer.
Can unlock Jedi and/or Sith Holocrons for performance boost to defenses or offenses respectively -and at the expense of the other.

Rogue Cadre- Playable, custom pirates
Rob, pilfer, and steal your way to greatness. The Rogue Cadre is a melting pot of human cultures, Advent refugees and what remains of the Vasari. They have gathered against the TCA, TOU, Atlantian-Orion Combine and TOC to free humanity from tyranny, mysticism and slavery.
Posess the Precursor Titan and The Machine -the latter capable of capturing capitalships

Arilou Vanguard- UFO race from the Star Control Games
Not being of this dimension, the Arilou do not rely on money and normal means of transport or construction. They simply spawn ships from their "motherships", and travel through Quasispace, which propels them at near instant speeds from planet to planet.

Ur-quan KohrAh Third Doctrinal Fleet- Death race from the Star Control games
Totally aggressive, the Korh-Ah are built for battle. They are all offense, and barely any defense. They focus on exterminating every race and every planet they find, and almost every ship is capable of boming from orbit. Their goal is to "cleanse" the universe of all other sentient life, anything that is not an Ur-Quan.

Ur-Quan KzerZa Third Doctrinal Fleet- Slaving race from the Star Control games
Unlike their Kor-Ah cousins, the Kzer-Za believe in a diplomatic approach, let alone old habits of enslaving entire races into their Hierarchy. They have grown from their 10,000 year old ways, and are more good than bad now.

Atlantian-Orion Combine- the ultimate race, the seeders of life (the gods)
The Combine are part of the original Creator Alliance and responsible for seeding galaxies with genetic data. The Orion are the protectors and defenders until the Atlantian vessels can be fielded. Their greatest strength is their technology, but the loss of labs remove bonuses gained from research.

Taalo Horde- Ancient Rock race, from the Star Control games
As if the universe itself groaned for a protector, the Taalo have awakened from a million year slumber only to find old allies -the Atlantians and Arilou stripping the galaxy of semi-sentient flo-metal. They are the ultimate enviromental defender with a naive sense of justice. They have incorporated alien technology into their asteroid bodies with great results.

Triad of Creation- Ancient Destroyers of Worlds, Galactic Enslavers
The Triad of Creation, the Dnyarri, Antaran and Lapis, seek to eradicate all life in the universe. They nearly destroyed the Atlantian-Orion Combine in the Ori galaxy by turning their creation -the Vasari- against them. They emerged from within the Rogue Cadre taking a sizeable portion of their population into slavery. Their fleets struck the Taalo and Dark Fleet with vessels designed for infiltration nearly crippling the two factions.

As your ship gets even closer, damage will soon dramatically increase as the ship is crushed by the shearing forces of the increased gravity.


Actually, if the black hole accretion disk is large enough compared to the ship, it wont be crushed at all. In fact a crew inside the ship possibly wouldnt even feel a thing for the most part of the journey to the center..
Thats because if you imagine the gravity well as large enough, the small area that is the ship, will feel rougly the same gravitational effect in the front and rear of the ship, hence not actually pulling it apart..

If the black hole is smaller, the difference in gravity between different ends of the ship would indeed pull it apart.
But yeah..

lol i just find it interesting..
Also because time passes slower the more massive gravity field you are in, along with the more speed you travel at, would mean that if you were a crew on such a ship, entering the event horizon of a large enough black hole, you would very possibly simply die out of old age or starvation..
Since time passes so much slower for the crew, they wouldnt feel a thing (as i said, if the difference in gravity between the different parts of your body/the ship was small enough, due to the huge span of the entire event horizon), and the descent into the black hole would seem to take longer and longer, eventually so slow that it would be impossible to perceive..
Eventually you'd just run out of food, and die due to that. Or just out of old age ^_^

Obviously, to an outside observer, it would just appear that the ship came faster and faster spiraling into the center, eventually just dissapearing (wouldnt see an explosion either, since light or debri cant escape the event horizon :D boring eh)
Well, except for the jets at the "top" and "bottom" of where the actual singularity is ^_^

Love the "scientific" description, so thank you. Unfortunatley, that is a little beyond our abilities for right now. Also, there are no "jets" for now.
But I feel that our ingame Black Hole will provide a nice perception of what a Black Hole should look like and act like within a space game, and hopefully develop a fear in the gamers to go near it. It looks and sounds menacing, like a huge monster in space that is ever hungry, and never stops eating...

Reinstall fixed my crashing issues. *shrug*I was playing just now and had a thought. With sins plus there's that tunneling upgrade for 'roids, right? Shouldn't that mean that the dead 'roids become slightly habitable? I mean with the tunneling and all?Cause they stay dead

I have maybe a good suggestions, why don't make a Weapon which
can destroy a whole Star. Like a Nova-Bomb.
That only can be Research, if you had 8 of Each Labs and
only can Build once, if you have at least 100000 Metal, 250000 Crystal and 500000 Credits. The Build time would be by at least 15 Minutes.
Once use it can't be build again and Would destroy a whole Star system,
Minutes after the destroying would a Wave of fragments, hit Systems around the Destroy one. So that all Planets will suffer a terrible fate.

This would be a terrible Suicide Weapon, but would be a great Improvment.

Just a little tidbit for you about the "menace" of the Atlantians that wil be coming out in the next release. It is NOT the Black Hole. The Atlantians may actually use it to their advantage.
I have successfully created another race, as well as at least one new ship for it so far. (screen shots coming)
The new race is actually a very old one, from STAR CONTROL 2.
The feared UR-QUAN KOHR-AH. I have managed to create their black ship, the Maurader.
I am still working on the weapons systems, but I plan to have it ready for the new release.
So, all those Star Control fans out there, you will have your day.

When you come out with the new races and the existing races, to keep them seperate, can you post a brief description of the races? Strengths? Weaknesses, so we know what there play style is.

Here is a little History on the Ur-Quan Kor-Ah Marauder, all in STAR CONTROL context:

The Kohr-Ah Marauder is a very powerful vessel rivaling the Ur-Quan Dreadnought. It is armed with spinning sawblades and a destructive F.R.I.E.D. system. The ship has been described as being ominously black, as dark as space, with an alien script carved upon the hull producing a "crusty" appearance.

Navigation
Comparable in size, speed, acceleration and turning to an Ur-Quan Dreadnought, what the Marauder lacks in grace it more than makes up for with its devastating weapons systems.

Armament
Primary
In combat, the Marauder launches spinning metal-blade disks with a near-limitless range and a short-range homing capability. When launched, they will travel in a given direction as long as the fire button is held down, and when it is released, they will stop and hold their position. As an enemy ship approaches, the disks will slowly close in on it, causing massive damage on contact.

Secondary
The "Fiery Ring of Inevitable and Eternal Destruction," or F.R.I.E.D., is a ring of super-heated, ionized gases that expands from ports opening along the Marauder's perimeter, annihilating anything in its path. If a F.R.I.E.D. shot and an enemy projectile collide, the F.R.I.E.D. will always win. This property makes them very useful for defense. Using the F.R.I.E.D. consumes half of the maximum battery.

Tactical Overview
Overall, the Kohr-Ah Marauder is one of the most powerful ships in our region of space. Its weapon systems make it an effective opponent at any range, and the primary weapon is particularly useful in "setting traps"; surrounding an enemy ship with blades on all sides and letting them close in.

Its firing rate is slower than the Dreadnought, and its weapons do less damage, but the range and homing abilities more than make up for it.

Strong against: Most Ships. It is also very good at weakening the Chmmr Avatar, as its F.R.I.E.D. attack burns ZapSats instantly. Unfortunately for the Marauder, the Avatar's greater speed, faster turning rate, tractor beam, and greater firepower allows the Avatar to quickly pull in the Marauder and incinerate it with its powerful heavy x-ray laser.

Weak against: The Utwig Jugger and Yehat Terminator can use their shields to absorb the Marauder's attacks, and nimble ships like the Spathi Eluder, Supox Blade and Pkunk Fury can evade incoming fire when flown by skilled pilots.

what type of files do you need to do make the 3d models for Sins? If I made a basic model and put in .3ds .obj or .vtx, would you be able to make detail modifications, skin it, and use it as an object? I've never made a model for a game or mod before, but I have tinkered with 3d animation. I'd like to try adding to the Star Control area.

As a side note, your Kohr-Ah ship looks great! Just a suggestion, but could you add some ship lights in slits (like the Enterprise D or other Star Trek ships) in some areas to make it a little livelier? See picture below for what I mean.

Sounds like you want to be part of the team! I will be happy to have you on board. Go to the "offical" forum and sign in. As far as files, if you can make .3ds files, than that is half the battle. I need more 3D modelers to get this rolling at a good pace. I can do all the texture work if you can't handle it. So, the answer to your questions is yes, I will be able to use it.
Now, the Kor-Ah ship is supposed to be all black, with no windows at all, but I might consider it. Also, there will be other Kor-Ah of my own design (since SC only had one ship per race) to fill out the race, such as small frigates and large Titans.
I am looking forward to seeing what you can do.

New Atlantian ships! Here are some screen shots, just to prove that I have not forgotten about them.

Once Siath70 is done with his models, they will become the Atlantians. But for now, here are some "modified" versions of the original ships:

Hi Danman,

Long time silent watcher of your mod, very impressed so far, you and your team have done tremendously great work. Just curious (and hoping), do you plan on including the following mods to your great achievement in the future: HammerRS, The Last Stand: Sins Overhaul, and Kriedger's Super Mini Mod? I really hope the answer is yes, for this mega mod is the best out there so far, thanks to all the great hard work from everyone.
