what is chasing the vasari

ok now you all have probably heard this question before and many are trying to answer it. WHAT IS CHASING THE VASARI!!!!!!! if you ask me the only thing that could have done this much damage is if sum one sent a brodcast of the teletubbies ,barney, dora the explorer, and elmo all doing one whacked out christmas speicial

but really what is chasing them if you ask me  this should be in the lore section unless they are waiting to unveil it to either make an expansion or maybe a capmeighn patch where you have to fight  whatever is chasing the vasari and take back your homeworld or something

I think it's some beast called the Xpan Shon? Or perhaps a Sea Qwell?

Whatever it is, it would be the most Overpowered race available. Think about it, a race that could drive back the Vasari's dominion and eradicate the Dark Armada with little to no effort.

Wouldn't want to mess with those guys. The more probably outcome to the plot would be an alliance between the TEC, Advent and Vasari races to fight away the unknown danger. As it happened in SupCom when the Seraphim returned.

More like Galactic Warming.

Anywho, whatever is chasing the Vasari could be a new race in an upcoming expansion (I would pay for that if they could fix the crashing).

Seriously, there are only a few options that come to mind.

1. A robotic race
2. Organic ships with their own conscious
3. Some sort of "god"

A gigantic cloud of nanites that have developed a fully sentient AI that has networked them all together as one vast computer that is hell bent on assimilating the universe one molecule at a time?

Amnesia. They simply forget where they came from.

A collapsing phase space anomaly that destroys all life. Or at the very least it shuts down jump drives for the next couple of hundred years. Which causes ALL sorts of hell to erupt on the now isolated planets(lone empires).

The long-lost Scottish Armada. It was the bagpipes that convinced the Vasari to up and move!

Think about it... As the Guidebook said, the Vasari's downfall came from within.

I like the Self-Sentient Nanobots idea.

But imagine... Nanobots + Advent Psi = Self-Sentient Psi-powered self-replicating Nanobots.

If all else fails, there's always the Tyranids.
