I feel like i don't fit in at school, being that i'm only kid that plays PC and strategy games. All of the other kids are Wii or first/third person shooter gaming nuts, plus they all use consoles. Does anyone fell this way. I hate talking about playing Galciv 2 to someone because no one's everheard of it or dosn't talk about and all of the nerds play consoles. The idea of me being the only 13 year old playing that plays this game is kindea embarassing.  (:(  X-(  :(  :SNIFF!:

Come to think of it, one thing we did have with those older board games, was that they all supported "multiplayer."


Yeah, but their single player support and AI was severely lacking!

I certainly did....hehe. ;) Rather pathetic sounding eh? When I as a kid I would make up a story in my head about what was happening in the world with the armies marching everywhere, and entertain myself that way if I didnt have anybody to play with.

When I got older, and I started winning more, and then started winning every time, my dad stopped playing with me eventually. He did not like losing!

Kid, nobody feels like they belong at your age. I certainly didn't. Still don't. Only difference now is I don't really care if I fit in. I mean, look at how boring most "average" people are! Are you sure you even want to be one of those guys?

Really, I think you should count yourself fortunate that your reasons for feeling that way are due to the kind of video games you play. I mean, try to imagine how difficult it would be to go through school being a Muslim, or gay, or blind, or living in extreme poverty, or having three heads or something.

I had a friend when I was your age who had three heads, and I saw how difficult it was for him to fit in (much less find t-shirts that fit).

Anyway, I don't mean to disparage you, but if the type of video games you play is your biggest problem in life, then you probably have it pretty good. And it's patently obvious that, by playing GalCiv2, you are part of the most intelligent, best-looking, coolest group of people on the planet, if not the whole universe!
