I have a question.

The "Gold Edition", is it the same as the Collector's Edition?

Another thing, the Collector's Edition is the Direct Buy from Stardock with the CD as well as download, correct?

So, if I were to have pre-ordered the Sins of a Solar Empire CD/Download Package in mid-July of 2007, which cost me $44.95 + $5.00 for shipping, is that still the same as the "Collector's Edition", before such 'edition' distinctions came about?

If I'm not being clear about what I'm asking, I'll attempt to rephrase.

You get the collector's edition.

When in doubt, Stardock always makes sure any change is to the customer's benefit. Always.

Ok since the game has gone gold why ppl who preodred the game (DL+DVD)through stardock central can't have the copy yet ????

Thank you.
Because the discs are probably still manufacturing, and they can't break the street release date?
Cuz the game doesn't come out till the 4th!

Retailers would be rather unhappy if we told them they had to wait until the 4th to release and we broke that date ourselves.
