What can I expect from my 8800GTX in Sins?

What can I expect from my 8800GTX in Sins?

What can I expect from my 8800GTX in Sins? If I ran the game at 1680x1050 with all settings maxed and at 4xAA, what kind of FPS could I expect? I know this game is optimized to run well on all hardware, so can I expect close to a constant 60 :D? (I'm sure CPU is also a big factor, and I have an Intel Core 2 duo E6400 oc'd to 3 GHz)

Spartan, I hate to break it to you, man, but women don't have big adam's apples.

OMG!!!

I used the plural forum of the word in reference to a set not a single apple.

oh, we were confused. We generally refer to those as melons, or other larger items of produce over here in not-japan

Green apples grow more. Since both 'green' and 'grow' begin with "gr" that is fact now.

And quantity > quality, like my space fleets.

...if you had the MOST of the BEST apple, that'd be different.

Since we're on topic of course, can we somehow mod Crysis into SOASE...then we will know.

I suddenly feel the need to defend Crysis, "system hog" implies that the game is wasting the power of your computer, Crysis definately doesnt, Crysis is by far the best anything will look on your computer. Additionally as long as you are only comparing graphics then yes it is fair to compare across genres, e.g CoH had better graphics than a great many of its contemporaries across all genres, but nothing looks as good as Crysis, and its not expected to (I will point out now that I play it with everything on Very High)

Oh and so nobody can accuse me of it no i dont take graphics over gameplay, i just started play Imperium Galactica 2 to fill the gap till sins (though this has made me want ground combat\city development in Sins), heck i still play EGA trek

*ends rant*

That aside as long as Sins uses my video memory\GPU for everything it can i'll be happy.

melons are to big and dont really age well. Apples on the other hand stay crisp and firm much longer.

like, until they're 90?
that is your preference group, if I'm not mistaken.

I like them far more tender, supple and juicy. Surely you have me confused with your alter ego.

as in severely obese?

wow spartan, I think we've narrowed down your dream girl pool to severely obese transexual supercentarians with promenant adam's apples!

you have an um... eclectic taste, exactly how many women have you found with all three catagories fulfilled?

Anyone else noticed that pretty much every single one of Spartan's posts now contains those clown emotes?

I love Sin Fest

I doubt it. I know that your last two avatars are part of a massive conspiracy to... promote your love of sinfest. Okay, I guess you're right.

Observant grasshopper you are. I was doing an experiment to see how long it would take before someone said something. The current selection we have on these forums is very limited. So I was trying to show the wide range of uses for them in the hope IC would get the oh so subtle hint.

Anyway you are the winner.

noticed long ago, thought you had found some wierd transexual-obese-supercentarian porn website with said appropriate smilies, so I didnt ask.

Can someone please explain to me in small easy to understand words how this went from discussion of hardware performance to Spartan's rather...odd taste in women, or he/shes as it appears.

Am I the only one here who thinks this is absolutely insane?

This thread in NOT about my taste in ladies no matter how much it may appear that way to the untrained eye.

Some jealous creations are trying to cast a disparaging and twinkling light on my sexual preference to make themselves feel more normal instead of accepting the twisted demented utterly perverse meat bags they are. But I digress...

I think they are getting rather stressed waiting for the release and exhibiting strange behaviour.

If you've noticed the posts full of 'over dramatic bullsh*t' (as Shod put it once) have started to multiply again so better to go off topic I reckon. I'm sure it will calm down again in a few days...

I make one little remark about the fact that Crysis looks really shiny, and this happens...

Don't you just love the Sins boards? :CONGRAT:

On the contrary, I very much like it the way it is, and I don't want the forums to turn into a circus by people filling half a page with one post just having a bunch of meaningless emotes.

The current selection may be expanded on a bit by adding some more normal emotes, but that's it.

70% of my time on this forum is emotes (:(
