I had a few ideas for makeing costom races.

1. When you make your costome race you should be able to say if your civ is a robotic race (yor) or Living. that way you can get the benifits of a robotic race or living one.

2. for people who whould realy like to costamize you chould have a section to make your own costome tec tree. you chould use the differint unique tec.

3.I don't know if they are going to keep super abilites in twilite of the arnor but youchould make one of your own.

Thats all for now but i will probabley think of something

1) Probably goes along with the racial history that each race has.

2) Techtree editor has already been announced.

3) Super abilities naturally will be in TotA, but you won't be able to create your own.

I like that idea killer...

When you create a race specify if its Organic (maybe even divided into Carbon Based ala Humanity and Silicon Based ala the Silicoids from MOO), Robotic (ala Yor), and Cybernetic (ala the Borg from ST).

I've asked Cari about that one. She said there no plans to be able to mod in other races as machines.

She also said that if you really want a robotic race, you are going to have to settle for the race in question sharing the same race ID as the Yor. You might not be able to play with the Yor in the same game you use your custom race though.

But other than the tech tree what is special about the Yor, Why can't a race just be given a custom tech tree that makes than out to be robots, I guess the only problem is the plague event.
