Playing with all 12

Are we going to be able to play with all 12 races in TA?
I mean, the largest('immense') galaxy is 484 sectors(22x22). That should be more then enough room for all the races + customs.

How about 14 races in one map. 12 majors + 2 customs. Combine that with 484 sectors and that should be... interesting.

Also, has the epic generator been abandoned or is it still in progress?

Btw, stardock rocks.

Yea he had a live streaming chat from , his home i assume answering questions whilst he was debugging TA...it was quite cool.

It was indeed very neat. I missed most of it, but neilo pretty much got it right.

I believe he said that he would like it to be possible after the release, but it would likely be unoffical/unsupported. But possible.

Hard to believe isn't FB. that a game developer, and company owner for that matter would take the time out of his life to do something like that.

But it happened and it is just another reason why Stardock are on top of the pile!!

I think this would put extra strain on the memory limit, since every race has unique ship styles. Given they are working so hard to find a solution to that problem I doubt it would be possible for a while.

personally i don't need all the bells and whistles of 36 full-blown races, but i'd absolutely LOVE to have the option of playing with more than 10 on a map... 35 opponents? that'd be awesome, and i'd be totally content if that meant my custom opponents had redundant ship styles. even if it was only available through custom scenarios, and we had to mod our own screens files to make the UI work with it, i'd totally do it!

It would also help if minor races played a more important role in the game. All they do is make a few defenders and spam contructors.

I don't think i would play with 36 races. Sure i would play one to give it ago. But a gigantic galaxy with about 16 races would be nice....push that number up to say 22-24 on immense. With this number of major's who would need the minor's!

Perhaps GC3 will unleash this on us.....

The extremely annoying thing is of course, you could mod in more races with the original game but with DA it became impossible , this always struck me as odd myself, seeings as more races were released but less usable.

Only if my Fembots are on charge.....their recharge cycle is often far too long....but since where talking about Torians...how about a nice glass of Torian Ale, aged 25 years.....just the right age too i might add, squish 'em while there young i always say!!!!

To Firebender: I do wish stardock would listen to our ideas, so I'm with you. I also wish Kryo would get a life and actually chat with us on the posts instead of answering one question and going away

Not just a robot, but a Fembot. My super good looking Fembots are rather like hybrids, with all the nice fleshy bits attached to their exo-skeleton.

Might i remind you of a similar design, though a bit more fleshy than robotic, but you get the idea....

Well, yeah, but with the exception of Elys Mue, Altarian girls are just the hottest chicks out there. You don't get those, well, um, love feelings with a Fembot, dude

Love feeling's, who is talking about love! My fembots are for pure pleasure and in the most evil sense. At your beck and call 24/7.....And they are really good asassians too!
