That is a reasonable statement. Although i was not particularly talking so much about what terrorists or governments are doing to each other, just weather or not terrorists actually do anything for fun inbetween all that fanatacism??

It is a good question to ask actually... do people involved in deadly warefare, fanatacism or impossibly difficult life missions become so consumed by their religion and or mission that they have no interest at all in having fun?

To better ourselves, we should stop arguing and build more Neutrality Learning Centers.

I agree with someone who posted here earlier, we continue all this by creating new posts and responding to them, so we better should just stop doing that. But sometimes that's hard.

Being respectful of others beliefs would involve not stating ludicrous arguments about why those beliefs are a farse.

The people posting these threads are less interested in stating their beliefs than they are in creating controversy. That,or they are so attention deprived that it was the only thing they could figure on getting them at least some amount of attention.

As for whether they are right or not about God, well I guess they will learn that answer about the time it is too late to make a course change.

Really, I only check one of them anymore, um, "A matter of time, or why god is nonsense".

Here's the problem with such arguments...
1)THIS IS A GAMING FORUM!!!

2)Each side WANTS TO WIN, It has drastic (sp?) effects to both sides of the argument... These things are really easy to notice in "reality" TV shows, like age of love, elimi-date, etc., when they do the little interviews, the people (often women more than men) are more interested in winning than what the TV show is actually about. (This makes the shows SUCK sometime)

3)There are two types of people in the argument, a)The one who says "well, here's my idea, tell me what you think", and the other is The one who says "This is what I think, if you think differently, YOUR WRONG!!!". person (a) is willing to come to an agreement and/or maybe change the way he/she thinks. person (b) will only accept his/her way of thinking. If you pair (a) with (a), the argument is boring and is a hippie fest, but it will be a succesful argument, they come to terms. If you pair (b) with (b), it's more of a fight than an argument, each side will only get mad because the other side will not listen, this is often where religious wars start from, or back ally fights where somebody ends up in the hospital. If you pair (a) with (b), you end up with the arguments currently taking place in religious threads here on this web site. Although, often there is a person c)Someone who does not know what to think.
these people end up just being bystanders as sides (a) and (b) leave a path of destruction which person (d) often has to clean up. person d) is someone who is above all of this!

A better example would be an avon party. because the purpose of an avon party is specifically to talk about avon products. So would you go to an avon party and instruct the women to only talk about avon products instead of say, their husbands!!!
