Bush Warned the Terrorists Would Follow US.

He was Correct-- They started in England.

Bush has been saying that if we leave Iraq the Terrorists will follow. Guess what - That is taking place while we are in Iraq. The British have now linked the terrorist attacks last week in Scotland and the two unsuccessful attacks in London to operations in Iraq. Our occupation of Iraq has spawned al Qaeda operations in Iraq like the operations in Afghanistan that brought 9/11 to America.

There were also dire warnings this week that attacks are planned from the terrorists in Iraq for the U.S. this summer. Bush was correct about al Qaeda following. What he forgot is that they are doing this BEFORE we leave Iraq and it is his invasion that has resulted in two foreign terrorist groups to begin operating in Iraq while we have 160,000 of our military in Iraq. We now have both al Qaeda and Hezbollah operating in Iraq under the nose of both our military and the Iraqi Military we have trained. They are busy planning their next attacks of the U.S. and other non Moslem countries.

The Iraq War has spawned NEW terrorist operations in Iraq that have attacked England. How long will it be before they attempt an attack in the U.S.? The Iraq War is tragic mistake that is making our security situation worse every day.

“Now who do i believe an idiot with a pen in his hand.

or the Palestinian that was in the back seat of my cab.” That Just showes how DUMB you are!

I would start with History. There is a Poll that says 40% of Americans think Saddam was responsible for 9/11. To claim Moslems believe the USA was responsible for the Crusades when they took place 500 years before there was a USA shows that anyone that would say that is NUTS!

“ Said that they supported the Israeli attempt to destroy Hezbollah. Which means that to a small degree they had/have to support some destruction in Lebanon?”

The issue is that we stood by and watched Israel Destroy 1/3 of Lebanon OVER TWO KIDNAPPED SOLDIERS. THAT IS WHAT ENRAGES THE MOSLEMS. That is why they will be willing to attack us again.

the real issue is that we stood by and watched as isreal tried and succeeded at stopping the rain of missiles that hezbolloh was shooting at them. at least for a month or so.

the two soldiers were just the last straw.

also on this note, your saying that isreal shouldn't care about all of its citizens. better to have two people killed today than go and try to rescue them.

how many do you let die tomorrow to keep that peace. How many in two days. how many in three days. come on dictator gene how many people are you willing to be allowed to be murdered to keep peace.

on 9/11 there were over 3000 people murdered. You and the democrats keep saying that we should just let it go. So tell me sir how many deaths do we endure until we have had enough.

please answer this question. this has nothing to do with bush, this is what you think. How many of your soldiers were you willing to sacrifice to keep the peace.

The two soldiers HAVE not been returned. Israel has been using the same tactics for 40 years and the violence continues. They are no closer to ending the issues then many years ago. They, like Bush, do not seem to recognize when a policy is not working! They punish one group and that spawns others willing to attack Israel. We are doing the very same thing!

No they blame Christians and we are for the most part Christian. The Christians did cause the crusades!

Actually if you want to be specific....I believe you'll find the Catholics were the ones that started the crusades. Not "all" christians were involved. That a fact that most people miss.

During the Crusades the Roman Catholic Church was the ONLY Christian Church. Both the Eastern Orthodox and Lutheran Churches broke off AFTER the Crusades.

So far as the Moslems are concerned we are all infidels!

the only policy that the arabs will settle for is the death of every jew in isreal.

“The only policy that the Arabs will settle for is the death of every Jew in Israel.”

That is only true of some Moslems. My point is the tactics that Israel has used for 40 years has not resolved the conflict. There is no military solution unless you can KILL every radical Moslem. If you did that you would create in the Moslems that are moderate hate that would drive many to form more radicals. That is what we are doing by occupying Iraq. Every time we kill civilians we create more enemies. Every time the Israelis kill women and children they create new radicals.

"this only proves that there are no moderate muslims."

If you are correct we have a problem that we can not deal with 1.2 BILLION Moslems! We need to STOP creating more Moslems willing to attack us. That is WHY we MUST get out of Iraq. They must settle WHO is to control that country. These is NO military solution we can impose and the current Iraqi Government is NOT moving to solve the issues that are causing the sectarian violence. Now because of Bush the Iraqi People must also deal with foreign terrorists that was not the case before our invasion!

answer my question

leave bush out of this

this has nothing to do with bush

and as far as Israel

Israel has done everything that the Arabs have demanded.

they have left the west bank, the Gaza strip, and Lebanon.

and what have they gotten for all of this. more rockets.

YOU CANNOT GIVE THE BULLY YOUR LUNCH MONEY. Because the next day he will want your car keys.

the area that these idiots are fighting over can all be wiped out with one nuke.

this includes Lebanon, Syria, west bank, Gaza strip, and parts of Jordan.

“They have left the west bank, the Gaza strip, and Lebanon.”

Israel has NOT left the West Bank. They have Jewish settlements which they continue to build and they are constructing a WALL into the West Bank. I do not know where you get your information but it is WRONG.

"The area that these idiots are fighting over can all be wiped out with one nuke.”

That will be the beginning of the end. First the radiation would impact the entire area including Israel and would disrupt the oil supplies for the entire world.

Just WHAT question do you want me to answer?

how many people are you willing to sacrifice for peace

5, 10, 500 or all million or so in isreal

how many people are you willing to sacrifice for peace

How many people are you willing to sacrifice for peace"

My answer is ZERO. I only would risk the lives of our people if there was a just reason and then use our military power in such a war as to insure victory. That is just what we DID NOT do in Iraq.

First, there was no danger to the United States that warranted sending our military into Iraq.Second, when we made the mistake of invading Iraq we did not provide the manpower to do the job. We had enough troops to depose Saddam but not even close to the number needed to prevent the Civil War and the foreign terrorists from tearing Iraq apart!

As far as Israel is concerned all the dead on both sides that have been sacrificed has not moved us closer to a settlement that would END the Killing!

the Muslims don't want a settlement. they want to go to heaven and the only guaranty that they have is to die in a holy war.

OK then why do you demand that Israel allow the Muslims to attack and attack them without fighting back.

of the two groups it is only the Muslims who have targeted elementary schools.

As far as Israel is concerned all the dead on both sides that have been sacrificed has not moved us closer to a settlement that would END the Killing!

Israel is still only defending themselves

oh and my answer is

if it would bring permanent peace is 1

and that 1 would be me.

“OK then why do you demand that Israel allow the Muslims to attack and attack them without fighting back?”

If the tactics that Israel has used worked it would be fine. However, so long as they build settlements in the occupied land, as long as they occupy land in the West bank so long as they try and extend their borders no end to the violence will take place. We need to secure an agreement that allows Israel to exist within the borders of Israel. Israel can not control the lives of millions in Palestine and hold their land and expect the attacks to stop. The surrounding Moslem states need to use their influence to obtain an agreement for the Palestine to stop attacking Israel in exchange for Israel returning within their borders and stop controlling the lives of the Palestine.

Anyone who believes that the Surge will end the fighting in Iraq is just kidding themselves:

Suicide Bomb Kills Over 100 in Iraq
By YAHYA BARZANJI (Associated Press Writer)
From Associated Press
July 07, 2007 7:54 PM EDT
TUZ KHORMATO, Iraq - A suicide truck bomber blasted a Shiite town north of Baghdad on Saturday, killing more than 100 people, police said, in a sign Sunni insurgents are pulling away from a U.S. offensive around the capital to attack where security is thinner.

The marketplace devastation underlined a hard reality in Iraq: There are not enough forces to protect everywhere. U.S. troops, already increased by 28,000 this year, are focused on bringing calm to Baghdad, while the Iraqi military and police remain overstretched and undertrained.

The top U.S. commander in Iraq, Gen. David Petraeus, told The Associated Press he expected Sunni extremists to try to "pull off a variety of sensational attacks and grab the headlines to create a `mini-Tet.'"

He was referring to the 1968 Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Tet offensive that undermined public support for the Vietnam War in the United States.

The U.S. military on Saturday also reported that eight American service members were killed in fighting in Baghdad and western Anbar province over two days, reflecting the increased U.S. casualties that have come with the new offensives. A British soldier was killed in fighting with Shiite militias overnight in the southern city of Basra.

In Saturday's attack - among the deadliest this year in Iraq - the truck detonation ripped through the market in the farming town of Armili at around 8:30 am, as crowds had gathered for morning shopping.

this paragraph proves that the surge is working. since the first goal was to get the attacks out of Baghdad.

your supposed to be a military officer. the first thing you need in a battle zone is a secured area to operate from.

this land is not the palistionions the west bank belonged to jordan then known as trans-jordan.

the gaza strip belonged to egypt after world war 2

This attack is in Baghdad. The experts said the Surge would simply MOVE the violence. That is what is taking place as well as attacks which continue in Baghdad. The Violence in Iraq is getting worse amd it is time to turn this over to the Iraqi Military and police.

String of Attacks Kill 26 in Baghdad
By BUSHRA JUHI (Associated Press Writer)
From Associated Press
July 08, 2007 5:55 AM EDT
BAGHDAD - A flurry of bombings in Baghdad killed 26 people Sunday, and officials said the death toll from a giant suicide truck blast that devastated the market of a Shiite town north of the capital a day earlier could be more than 130.

Officials earlier had said Saturday's bombing in the town of Armili killed 115 people, one of the deadliest attacks in Iraq in months. The blast suggested Sunni insurgents are moving further north to strike in less protected regions beyond the U.S. security crackdown in Baghdad and on the capital's northern doorstep.

The string of attacks Sunday morning in Baghdad made clear that extremists can still unleash organized strikes in the capital despite a relative lull in violence there in past weeks amid the U.S. offensives.

Two car bombs detonated nearly simultaneously in Baghdad's mostly Shiite Karrada district, killing eight people. The first hit at 10:30 a.m., near a closed restaurant, destroying stalls and soft drink stands. Two passers-by were killed and eight wounded, a police official said.

The truth is that we are not reducing the violence in Iraq with this surge because we are not changing the REASONS for the violence. The elements within Iraq can not agree on who and how Iraq will be controlled and the foreign terrorists are increasing. We now have both Hezbollah and al Qaeda operating in Iraq making the internal conflict worse.

Despite the added troops in Baghdad, the attacks continue. In addition the number and size of attacks outside Baghdad have dramatically increased. If we move our forces to areas outside Baghdad to quell those attacks they will increase in Baghdad.

We tried the surge idea three previous times without success. It is clear; we must turn the fight over to the Iraqi Forces we have trained. If they can not or will not control the fighting then it will be on their head. We have removed Saddam and enabled them to elect a government. The job is not up to them and if they fail then the Iraqi’s will be the ones to suffer the consequences. All we should do is prevent any violence in Iraq from spilling over into any other country.

Congress now must force Bush to change our policy and I believe that will happen because any GOP member of Congress up for reelection in November 2008 must respond to what the VAST majority of Americans want which is to end our involvement in the Iraq War.

“Most Americans want us out of Iraq with a positive outcome. That is the part that you democrats don't get. Most Americans want us out of Iraq with a POSITIVE OUTCOME.”

Bush has made that all but impossible. When he did not listen to the Generals as to what it would take to prevent the sectarian violence and the Foreign Terrorists to take over Iraq he doomed the outcome. As soon as the Sunni and Shea groups armed and organized we lost. As soon as we allowed al Qaeda and now Hezbollah to set up operations we made the situation worse.

So for all who would like us to get out with a positive outcome you can blame Bush for preventing that from happening! If you believe we are going to leave a stable Iraq you are in denial just like Bush! No matter when we leave there will be more violence and most likely an all out civil war. We will be blamed for that war with good reason. The only way Saddam should have been removed from power was by the Iraqi People NOT the U.S.
