Raining like a big dog here. The western Hill Country is flooding. Water rescues, lakes coming into houses, people being swept downstream when they try to cross low water crossings. It's been wet and hot for soooooo long. Probably not as long as it feels though.

I am, and i wish we could have some 40C weather now, it's damn freezing here at the moment......a bit of trivia, but 40C is not that bad, we regularly see 45C in the summer here in Newcastle, which is about 100 miles north of Sydney.

I feel the evil gerontological shoehorn rising within me. Oh wait ,that didn't come across too well...er ...ah I meant to say, I feel that old shoehorn surging with evil... oh crap, I'm digging a deeper hole for myself,... er let's just say I'm happy to represent The Tyranny of Evil and leave it at that (phew).

A topsy-turvey world, huh? I never thought of Australia getting cold. I guess you might not have thought of Texas flooding either though. No prob though. I have a boat under there somewhere. Just gotta swim out and find it.

Our temps in winter where i live get down to about 5C (41F) at night and anywhere from 14 to 19 in the day. In summer though, it is not uncommon for it to be 31C (87.8F) at midnight, let alone throught the day. I do remember a day last summer, in Feburary i think that hit 51C (123.8). And i'm on the coast, i can 9 iron a golfball into Lake Macquarie.

I finally got my drengin game in, but i had some issue's. Right near the end of the game i had the jagged knife that took about 200 planets off me and crippled the AI. So much so that the very next turn, the thalan and the torian's left with only about 5 planets each both surrendered to me before i could make peace and get my planets back.To make it worse i lost all 3 capital planets. Tech, Manu and economic one....

Really hurt my score, i got 66000 or so, but i really think it would have been a 120K plus game.....dammit! It was on challenging too and getting those scores on that level isn't easy.....

I'm going to go on a rush of medium miltiary conquests i think next, maybe the arcean...

5C at night, Man would that be nice in the winter. Try -30C. Thats about the coldest it gets. winter in Australia or southern States I would be wearing shorts and tshirt.  

Well i wouldn't do that well in Canada then. I'd say on the flip side i'd be cold in your summer's?

I'd certainly like to get to Canada one day since the suburb i live in is called Toronto...though it is only a small suburb of a small city, nothing like yours.

Our summers can get extreme in many parts of the country. 70 to 80 degree temperature changes between summer and winter. And Mottikhan wants to borrow some beer, hell the way I feel right now   You can have it all as well as all the hard stuff as well. I am never drinking again.(I think I've said that before)

Victory, Alterians are to easy and the Terrans didnt put up to much of a fight either it was easier than the time I cheated my little bro 10 times at blackjack in a row all I did then was set it up so i had a king and ace and he had a king and queen he didnt notice that I put the cards back on the top.

Woohoo! Just pour it in the transporter mesh in back of your computer. The one with the power switch.

In local news, I got the promotion. I'm sitting in my shiny new office now. It's about 3 or 4 times bigger than my old one. I think I should get one of those little remote control helicopters and see if it'll fly in here.   

Hmm...No sig text stuff on this computer. Guess I'll need to get it off of my old one.

I hear that moderate consumption of alcohol helps thin the blood and keeps those blood platelettes from sticking together thereby promoting a healthier cardiovascular system... well, that's my story and I'm standing by it; for medicinal purposes only !

This being a long weekend about to start here in Canada, I'll be testing that assumption many, many times.
