Hi all and welcome to the Tyranny of Evil. The Tyranny of Evil is a dedicated Metaverse empire that has risen to prominence in just 1 year. 2nd place on the AltMeta and a soon to be 3rd place in the MV is no small feat from an empire with ~39 active players.

Dedicated to the pursuit of evil, we encourage all players, new or veterans, to join us in our quest to be the strongest, most active and long lived empire in the Metaverse.

We pride ourselves on being one of the most active empires in the MV or the Altmeta, and it is that activity that makes us unique. Our members are active submitters of games and have a very strong and prominent forum presence.

Seth has choosen to rebirth his Geckodon Empire and as such has moved his characters from the ToE back in with the lizards.

This is Seth's choice and one i understand, i dont see the need for debate on the matter.

Good to see you Quixen. A few of us are still trolling the forums on occasion. Neilo, Piz, Cypher and myself have been mostly playing Demigod as of late, but we're still around. :)

AFAIK Very few of the ToE guys are still playing. I only play it modded nowadays for fun. A few of the Kitties are still at it I think. I just happen to still have an RSS feed to the metaverse section of the forums on my desktop, otherwise I don't frequent GC2 forums too much anymore. I still bounce around the Demigod and Sins forums though(and soon Elemental, when I get around to preordering). A lot of us still keep in touch on ToE.com and few have migrated to using Skype for voice(type chatting is so archaic now lol)

Yes, we do have a good number of active players in the Kzinti.  Not as many as before of course, but still going strong.  I play other games as well, such as Civ4 right now because I just downloaded the Complete edition from Impulse, but still play GC2 on a regular basis.  Just recently had my best game of 1.3 million, and I plan to try to top that soon. :grin:

Hey all! Quixen!long time mate! New rig huh...do tell, i'd love to build a new pc today with an i7 at its heart..

ToE.com has slowed somewhat...but it picks up again every few weeks or so....like DA said, the fact so many of us use Skype for voice now kinda renders alot of forum chat to the closet, though we still BS about a great many things.

I on the other hand am not playing anything atm..i have a broken right arm, which means aside from some left handed, and badly done, Demigod, i cant play anything...at least for another 3 weeks.

As for GC2, i still have two mumblers that score tested at end of year 0 very high, but i doubt i will ever finish them, i'm sure both would be 1.3-1.5 mill games.

Like DA, i have a TA mod that i have been toying with now for over 6 months. Its a complete overhaul of all races, everything is completely new, even was working on  (with DA's help) how to have 36 races available in game, but its been that long since i touched that i dont really recall we're we got too on it. Races are done, bar for the unique trees....

Demigod has been the game of choice for a few months now, along with SINS, Settlers 6, L4D and a few NFS titles.

And yes this reply is dragging on terribly 'cause i am bored shitless with this arm in a cast and figure id ramble to you guys.......

Ok....time to wast time on Mafia Wars i guess....
