In the future you should tell new members this rule that I didn't know until now, to use default font family, default font size, no colorful banners, no bold white letters and black back ground so this mistake will not happen again.

  It will take time go through this thread and change my font and delete my colorful banners but I promise I will.

I think, given your age and the general temperament of the ToE that it might be best if you didn't come in here.

No-one wants or is trying to offend you but the age difference is far to great and i for one don't want to have to watch what i say in my own empire thread.

I have already deleted you from the ToE website as i don't think our content is suitable for someone of your age.

You have done little to nothing wrong, but you need to grasp that what you see as fun, or normal behavior is not what we see. Many of us are older than your father even.

I'm not sure you get my meaning in my post. All i am saying, since i am given to understand that you are of quite a young age, is that the Tyranny may not be the best place for such a young person to visit.

Even though on GC2 we are far more reserved, as opposed to our private forum, we still enjoy the fruits of knowing that SD allow a fair amount of latitude in Empire threads and as such we often have discussions/images and the like that you may not find suitable.

Nor would we be comfortable posting more mature content knowing that you frequent our thread.

We in no way post anything that SD would not like, but i still don't think mature conversations that we have is the right place for you.

I mean no offense, though your fonts and posts have annoyed me, i wish you no ill.

As for your thread, I'm not sure i understand. I don't see how a virus would stop you posting in your thread.

I hope this isn't a double post.  I hit submit a long, long time ago and nothing seemed to have happenned.  Other pages opened up on the site, but my post just sat there.  I'm hitting submit again after refreshing the page many times and not seeing it...

What a weekend! The wind blew some of the upper deck of our roof  into our neighbor's lawn.  We had the insurance folks and roofers out and now part of our roof is covered with a stately blue plastic tarp.  Classy, it is.    

The Texas Longhorns are replacing their field with astroturf and decided to sell off the existing live turf in 1 square foot sections during their spring jamboree scrimmage game yesterday.  A once in a lifetime thing and only being sold for a period of 6 hours.  Of course, we went and bought up some of that.  Nice gifts, ya know.  I made planters from drain boards that I found at the store and glued on some of the Longhorn logos.  They look pretty cool.  Gave the first one out this morning.

No gaming time.  We put our garden in and I'm scoping out where to plant some of this grass we bought. 

I see that there's been some trivial drama in the meantime.  I looked at GmOOnii's profile and it says she's 30 years old.  There are rumors that she's much younger, but I seem to recall the TOU saying something to the effect that you need to be at least 13 to be on these forums.  If GmOOnii is indeed younger than that, there's some misrepresentation going on that might need to be addressed. 

Perhaps we need a dev or two to get involved with this.  At least some clarification would be nice.  I'll leave a PM and raise the question.

Huh...seeing some curious behaviour with Karma.

I have noticed that since i was last on, say about 2 hours ago, i have seen both KP's and SS Karma drop by a point, and Dys's by as many as 3-5.

Anyone else notice that?

Perhaps some bug with forum levels.  If someone temporarily dropped to Citizen or such it would greatly affect the amount of karma they could have doled out to someone.

Is that retro-active though?

Ok, i just got Karma given to me that seems like it was old, the reply it shows takes me back three pages. Plus i now see that KP has that point back.

I'm having some problems with my account on the ToE site. Both the username and password are autofilled so there will be no errors, but it won't let me log in.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Undying. Sorry mate, the aViVa account was deleted. To be honest, i thought your intentions with us were over. If you wish to reg again i will activate you.

I went to the Tyranny site and couldn't find your login there.  I also saw your username logged as a guest.  I don't know what exactly happened, but I assume that since your username "aViVa" is a spambot signature, it was mistaken for one and deleted.  Spambots are cleaned up regularly and pretty much automatically.

There's nothing I can do to revive the username you've given, but you're more than welcome to create a new account.  I'll try to keep an eye out for it and activate it when I see it.  Unless of course, it resembles another spambot.

I had a great birthday yesterday!  It all started when work called me in for an emergency repair at 2:30 A.M.  They couldn't get a hold of the guy on call or the alternate, so it fell to me.  That's what happens when you're the boss.  I worked on it until my crew came in and I took the rest of the day off.

My wife took me to lunch at the only place around that has Icelandic Cod.  We had to go two cities away to Austin.  While there, we went to Frys and she bought me a 24 inch Widescreen monitor.  It's just an AWESOME monitor!  Here's the web link...

It's a fast 2ms High Def Gaming monitor.  (Of course, I snuck around and bought one for her, too while we were in Austin.  We don't go there as often as we used to. )

Well, her monitor was only a 19 inch and I wanted her to have at least as nice of a system as I have.  She resisted at first, but it only makes sense.  That, and I don't know when we'll be going that far north into Austin again. 

It's ok though.  She's talking about buying me an upgrade for my media system to make up for it.  GTS250, ASUS Motherboard and 4GB of 1066 DDR2 to go with my quad core CPU that's languishing in my desk.  All things work out.

dys will probably weigh in on this as well, but the GTX260 (216 cores) may be a better idea, assuming it's within the budget. 

Though I guess one should also consider what you're running on now...

I'm open to ideas.  A few more dollars is ok as long as it can be justified.  My budget is always a moving target as long as there's value for money.

Right now, it's an X1950Pro.

Love those guys.  Running an X1950GT myself.  But it can't Fold anymore (for a long time, actually), so I "need" (read: want) something newer.  For my purposes, the GTX260 c216 would be far superior to the GTS250 (aka 9800GTX/9800GTX+), but for yours, it might not be worth the extra cash, particularly as you're looking at (I believe, based on your link in another thread) a $130 GTS250 (gotta love EVGA).
