Cast off your pinkoness and do not follow your brothers into the hell that is a suburban community meeting. There they will discuss standards for gender-neutral language in local government documents for all eternity!!!

Jerk.

You "really" don't want to get into one of those. It'll get real ugly, really fast.

I only like flamefests when I'm not going to get exiled. I'm not really stupid enough to get in a fight with Baker, much less the admins.

why not come over to the dark side, and enjoy a few pleasantries.

says the fox to the little girl.........ummmmm thanks for the invite but....NO......

You must be young......

hey, I like my answer. Remember, I'm technically registered Democrat . . .

are you bragging or complaining? We really need to talk SC. What is a decent Mormon such as yourself doing on THAT side anyhow? I would think much of what the Dem's believe would clash with your religious side. Or do you separate the two?

Some people just dont have a sense of humor

Just keep it up, buddy. I'm in the mood for a flamefest.

Lesson from KFC

Humor=good
Flamefest=bad

Don't worry, I was joking about the flamefest. And I gathered that Baker got that. We've been busy trying to talk some sense into Rightwinger lately, and we were both branded as flamers in the last big so-called (and misnamed) flamefest. So I don't intend to start any flaming, least of all against Baker.

You can be a moderate Democrat and still be a good christian . . . I'm not one of the baby-killing types or anything . . . I neither brag nor complain. I simply am. Here in Utah, I appear very liberal . . . but that's because I live in a state of fascists. Outside Utah, I'm rather conservative in contrast.

In Utah, you can pull off being a strong Democrat and a good Mormon. Really, you can. I promise.

Good thing you are a democrat, or your party would flame you for that!

Yeah, I think you can be a good Christian and be a Democrat, especially if you aren't an overly dogmatic Christian. I think most Christians who are Dems are so in spite of a lot of the policy they produce, though. They just seem to value the "helping the poor" song-and-dance more than they loathe the other aspects of Dem moral bankruptcy.

I'm not a fan of what the Democratic party has become . . . I'm more of an old-school Demo, not a Mr. Dean wannabe . . .

But I am afraid neither party has much moral authority in my mind. I don't think that the new-Demos are alone in their "moral bankruptcy". Look at Utah's staunch Republican senator, Orrin Hatch. Here's a guy that likes to wear his christianity on his sleeve, but continues to simmer in the cesspit of corruption.

Oh well. Suck is life in politics.

No, in your example you said that you had to admit that the good you find in child abusers is that some have repented of their crimes and turned over a new leaf. I said, by that logic, I'll be able to find the positive in Dems when they turn over a new leaf and cast off their Democratness...

Yes, because, like i said, it (the decision/conclusion that they are 'repented') comes from you, and your gauge. So, sure.

*shrugs* All in good humor.

Young? What do you mean?

No the "guage" comes from our justice system. And if what you say is true then "why" do these kind of web sites still exsist?

WTF are you doing linking that stuff, drmiler?

Good lord if you are going to link perverted kiddie sites you could have the fekking decency to warn people who would prefer that crap NOT to show up in our ISPs logs of our traffic. Some people here blog from work, public computers, etc, too, and visiting stuff like that could be grounds for action.

KFC: my advice would be to delete drmiler's post if he doesn't do it himself. I would NOT allow my blog to send hits to such people. Feel free to delete my rant at the same time.

It will not allow me to edit after someone else posts. I'm sorry about the link. I put it there in retaliation to Lucas's statement.

Again I apologize and will not do that again. It was done "without" thinking. My bad.

You should be able to edit from KFC's main page (not the forums), regardless of whether or not people have posted after. Just make sure you are logged in. No hard feelings intended, just a warning would be nice.
Suggestion: Instead of blasting the trumpet of what they've done wrong, why not talk about what they have done right, or have started to do, that is positive.

Honestly, Lucas, from my perspective, there's not much the Dems have done right. I'm no fan of the GOP either, but the Dems abandoned a lot of their core constituents over the years.

Note to drmiler and others who might post stuff that's too much for those accessing from work...the "buzzword" warning is NSFW (Not Safe For Work). Most users know this acronym well enough to look for it.

Thanks Gideon I'll try to remember that.

Thank you BS that idea worked. I have removed the link.

This has gone way beyond the intended purpose. It was and is hummor. Biting humor, based upon reality. Some got upset. Let them. But then let them defend the facts based upon humor. Where are the facts false (original post)?

Dont like it? get rid of it! Uh, SP and SC, where is Foley? Where is Kennedy?

Nuff said. Go about your ill humor.
Thank you, again, no hard feelings. I don't believe you frequent such stuff, and I understand it was an example. I just despise those people to the point that I can't bare to look at their filth, even when it is just philosophy.

hey, my humor was not all that ill. I like to think that I've gone about this thread with a frivolous nature. Yes, my first comment was that it's not funny, but I didn't think it was that funny. However, I've taken the subsequent ribbing in good nature, I believe.

And if you don't like it, stick it in your ear, doc.

Frankly, I'm tired of both, but the democrats just happen to represent my beliefs more. So, i go with them, albeit distantly.

That's in reference to the justice system, and criminals. I'm talking about individuals versus criminals (or anyone/thing).

Dont like it? get rid of it! Uh, SP and SC, where is Foley? Where is Kennedy?

Sadly, not where they should be.

I have no idea what this exchange is all about....my guess is it happened yesterday and I wasn't around JU....maybe that was a good thing. Anywhoo I'm guessing it was Baker who requested me to delete drmiler's post? But I guess he beat me to it.

Remember....right thinking precedes right living.....

no harm done drmiler. Thanks for doing the right thing.

yes you did....no complaints from the KFC Dept. You're just a wise guy and you quack me up........ most of the time.

where is Foley? Where is Kennedy?Sadly, not where they should be.

I'd like to know for the life of me what's protecting the likes of them. It can't be their charm.
