Hi everybody, The Rise of the Gerandor Republic Mod for GC2 Twilight of the Arnor is currently stopped for undefinate time, but not cancelled.

It is a Total conversion of the Game X3 Reunion, and is thought to let you play the X universe from another perspective, from a Leader of a race.

This Mod is what you really understand as a Total conversion, it completely replaces GalCiv 2 with X3, adding a lot of new features and story to the game.

After a long pause, we are very close to bring this mod out as a beta.

This will be a big Mod with lots of new ships, video material and the best, impressive Weapon effects you ever have seen in a Galciv2 Mod =o)

The whole X-Universe in GalCiv 2 !

not sure, but they're resuming work some time at the beginning of the summer. I will be helping out a bit. dunno what i'll help with besides the UI, but it'll be worked out sometime soon...don't worry, i wouldn't stop development on TBL for anything. ;)

yeah thats right, we want to finish this mod in summer, we had a long pause cause of school finishing phase and other commercial projects we gave priority, but our Mod will be continued in summer =)

Im glad to see this getting done...looks awesome. I may have to do a comic on it once it releases and I understand the races and such. Since its a total makeover, Im hoping you are changing some of the weapon and armor sounds! They sound kinda goofy in the regular game, and while I do know how to change them I currently havnt. Keep up the good work!

Quick question again....are you going to be keeping Star bases looking the same or have you completely redone those as well? Also, if you are redoing them, will you be giving them a bit more hps or what not to reflect how tough they are? LOL sorry to keep asking so many questions, but Im so looking forward to this mod and to see all the hard work you have done! Again, great work and keep it up! :CONGRAT:

Thank you for the kind words, of course, we will integrate new starbases, I promise you, we will replace everything ;) and of course they get more HP and real space Lasertowers as Defense (my favorite job *g* )
