Apparently this has turned into a grammar/spelling thread. My apologies to the OP who was only trying fix something that he saw as potentially misleading.
But I'll add my opinion about grammar and spelling anyway. I try to be reasonably careful with my own grammar and spelling because it does reflect on how people view you and your posts. But I try to avoid criticizing other people's grammar and spelling unless it's so bad that I truly can't understand what they're saying. Even then there's no real need to criticize, it's more a matter of seeking clarification.
There are a number of reason's you shouldn't criticize other peoples grammar and spelling. The first reason is that it’s at least as likely to be a typing error as a spelling error (grammar is a little more difficult to explain as a typing error). The second reason is that English is not necessarily everyone’s first language. If you don’t have native fluency in at least one language other than your own, you have no call to criticize someone’s usage of what may not be their native language. The third reason is that it makes you seem hypocritical to correct others when it’s virtually inevitable that you’ll make errors of your own.
Finally, even if your own grammar and spelling is beyond reproach, correcting the grammar and spelling of others makes you seem picayune and pedantic. If you’re in the habit of correcting other people’s grammar and spelling, you better know what picayune and pedantic mean. I’ve attached the following links for your edification.
