I have been rather busy lately but that has not stopped me from posting my largest victory yet. 16500 Points. Up from my previous high score of 11000! (I am getting better!)

I will begin my next game within the next week, raising the difficulty to the next level. Hopefully that will bring in another fine victory with even more points.

Hail Quixen and HCH brothers! Greetings from the Martians. I just finished my 4th game - I too am now ready to "step it up". The last two games were influence victories - I want to try for a military victory next. Perhaps the HCH will start to close in on those empires still ahead of us.AS we say:

Agreed, things seem to be stirring. I think that the gold rate of the game and the up coming DA expansion will definitely stir things up even more.

I can be helpful on that one. The Bene Tleilax consider the rest fo the folks to be filthy unbelievers - powindah. Not that I share that sentiment as the Emperor is not excluded from powindah status as a non-Tleilax.

It seems that we have stirred some activity within the top two empires! There forum threads are buzzing with activity and their members are starting games in order to thwart our bid for a higher slot within the Metaverse! Not to mention it seems they have closed the gap between each other and are now fighting amongst themselves for the 1st place title. We have many galaxies to conquer this coming year if we hope to catch them.

I will be posting my 15th game in a few days and hope to achieve a new personal best. I look forward to our bright future!

Thank you for clearing that up for me... I think...

i posted in another thread you started about scoring... i look through profiles to get info on scoring levels for different versions and difficulty levels. A few more specifics in the other thread but I know using those has helped me raise my score just because I knew that reaching that score was possible.

Not to mention it seems they have closed the gap between each other and are now fighting amongst themselves for the 1st place title.

Rest assured we are keeping an eye on your corner of the galaxy.  And congrats on the 15th game submission (a little early).

Just popped in to say that I've taken the last week or so off from beta testing to rack up a couple more scores for the glory of the empire. I noticed a post earlier about some old empire or another trying, like Justinian, to restore their faded glory; may they have as much success!   

Also finished off my personal goal of playing a medium galaxy with each of the races. Large galaxies with a ramp-up in difficulty levels will come next. However, if the massive engine component size increase from DA creeps in to DL, too, I will probably not progress onward to huge or gigantic. It takes me long enough as it is...

I have conquered yet another small galaxy in just 6 short year’s sir, making this my 15th conquered galaxy. The Dregin and Drath were fairly tough but that did not slow my invasion force down for very long. Headquarters generated my leadership report and for the first time I scored 16750 points. Only 250 points higher than my best appraisal, but higher none the less. This score propelled me from being ranked 361 in the 'Verse to the rank of 293, jumping 68 positions.

I have given my fleet orders to return home for repairs, R&R, and to prepare for the next conquest. They have been informed that the next galaxy may not be as small, contain even more enemies of the H.C.H. and they may be more difficult to conquer.

Our logic is undeniable.

Hail members of the HCH! I just posted another victory - my first with miltary means, not just influence (although I used it at the beginning). The Martians have begun to understand how to build and use war ships (not just using constructors). We look forward to contributing to the strength of the High Command Hegemony.

It looks like we are closing in on the 4 million mark, and are continuing to push ahead a good pace. Lets make 2007 the year of the HCH, and take the top!

For anyone who has not tried it, it is great.
Several new features that are important.
They have also tried to nerf some of the cheese tactics that get the high scores.

Hi!

It appears that the competition between the empires of the Metaverse is heating up. The Arrakis Imperium is beginning to climb through the ranks, the Galactic Empire is trying to reorganize, and the Orcas and Diplomats are continuing to duke it out.

We are now only about 350,000 points from hitting the 4 million mark. Also the ranks of HCH are continuing to grow, we now have 103 characters in the empire.

Lets keep up our great pace, continue to expand our community, and fight our way to the top!
