Recent Nation-Wide Heat Wave Caused By Bush Policies

According to recent super secret studies, President Bush's policies have led to war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Lebanon resulting in the use of so many explosives that it has caused the atmosphere to heat up resulting in a heat wave throughout most of North America.

A recent poll conducted in a local tavern proves that 70% of Americans believe that Bush's policies have resulted in the current high temps in the nation. That number rose to 95% if the pollster was buying a round.

The same poll conducted closer to closing time proved that 100% of those polled believed that Bush's policies resulted in long lines to the men's room.

Only 95% when buying a round?  So who is the commonist?

Bush is responsible for not providing leadership for a energy policy that would have replaced the electric grid and moved us to less dependence on foreign oil. Global warming is not taking place per Bush so I guess the story about the heat is just another liberal lie!

Nice parody, Mason. Too bad, the Clueless Wonder missed the point ...

And here's a funny thing about the heat - last summer (in VA at least) things were cooler and wetter than normal. This year, things are hotter and dryer than normal. Hmmm... could it be the simple idea that nature prefers a balance?

Nah, global warming is causing it!

You should have been around here for the summers in the 70s (when it was global cooling).  We had a streak of 5 days where it was over 100, and 15 where it was over 90!  And I was working outside then!

How do you and Bush explain the ice melting at both caps? That must also be a liberal lie!

It's happening because of all the hot air you spew with your continued useless rants and ravings....

The question of global warming is clear- We are in a phase of global warming and Bush might as well accept that fact. The evidence including the measurements of the melting of both ice caps proves that the Earth is warming.

The question of how is the release of greenhouse gases impacting this warming? Is what we are doing making the warming worse or would it take place at the same rate regardless what we do? If Bush and the conservatives are wrong and we are speeding up and making worse this warming the consequences will be catastrophic for the World. Thus the down side risk is such that we might be best to try and reduce the greenhouse gases in the hope that will either slow or reduce the amount of warming that is taking place.

You're absolutely right (err, I mean Left). The fact that we just ended an ice age is irrelevant, the current weather problems are all Bush's fault. I agree whole heartedly. And of course the power grids were in perfect condition prior to Bush taking office and their poor condition now is certainly his fault as well. The fact that they're actually private companies should make no difference, Bush should have seen to it they kept their systems up to par. I hear he gets a big laugh every time someone dies due to lack of air conditioning.

I have it on good authority that every time the temps go over 100 in some area he celebrates with an ice cream cone.

Absolutley right! (sorry, I mean Left). We need that ice. What are the poor penguins supposed to do. learn to fly or something? Bush really needs to start a policy that makes it illegal for natural forces to melt any ice anywhere in the world. Of course that would put all of those ice vending companies out of business but that's ok, they all voted for Bush anyway.

Very true! If Bush had any ecological responsibility at all he would force Congress to pass laws against the use of any technology that produces these deadly gasses and help institute Federal subsidies to horse breeders and wagon builders. He should also immediately force all cattle and horse ranches to plug the asses of their animals so as to contain all of that methane which is a greenhouse gas produced by them in very high volumes.

This madness must stop!

Yep. We must protect our environment. Especially where adult beverages are concerned.

I see my wisdom is spreading fast.

He who drives a gas powered vehicle has a complaint about gas dependence? You should consider a name change and ad hypocrit as a middle name. Oh BTW, this was a joke. More of an insult and a tribute to your wisdom. Kinda like my 2 articles and the ones that will follow. Hope you like and enjoy them.

We have a president that has done NOTHING since he took office to address ANY of the major issues that need solutions. You can bluster all you want about me. YOUR IDIOT PRESIDENT is useless and every problem that faces our country is worse then when he took office. What great leadership he has provided!

Exactly right ( err, I mean Left, sorry), everything is worse now. While I am making a good living and have few real problems, I'm sure that's just a mirage and everything is totally screwed up despite appearances. You know, I'm sure that car wreck that laid me up for over a year was Bush's fault. As a matter of fact I know it was as this whole global warming thing is certainly responsible for the black ice that caused the wreck. Damn Bush anyway!
