Stardock's Current Poll

So I thought I would make a post on the current poll to see what people really want from Stardock.

I picked Turn Based Fantasy Game. My reasoning behind this is that I think those types of games if worked out in the right fasion become somewhat of an addiction to play. I also like the idea behind Society yet there is not much content to go on yet so I didn't vote for it.

This is just my thoughts to the poll what does the community here think?

I would like to see a nice RPG style space combat game. I have been a fan of space combat for a long time. The only thing is i am not a fast minded button pushing freak. I like turn based games or atleast be able to slow the game speed down so it is managable for us non-fast poeple. I would love to see a game with you as the main character in the gal civ universe. You start out as a lowly cargo freighter mechanic or something. Then through smart deals, luck and chioces you eventually get up to the point of commanding a battle ship and partaking in the liberation of yoru civ from the dread lords or conquer the galaxy. Kind of like choose yoru own adventure but with GREAT space combat and ground combat graphics. You choose what your ship will be outfitted with and you partake in missions of your choosing. Be it a ground troop hauling vessel or an anomale surveyer. Your choices and successes bring about better oppertunity and advance your GalCiv. But you hav eto have the ability to customize yrou ships like you can now.

Turnbased Strategy fantasy game.

Age of Wonders and Heroes of Might & Magic are good games but lack severly in atleast one area an thus a new game is needed. Master of Magic II seems like a great idea but some innovation is needed.

Voted tbs fantasy. I've never played a fantasy game. Ever.

Btw, why can I vote several times in a single poll? I've only got one account I use, so.. yeah.

TBS Fantasy game would be great and to have nice diplomatic options in the fantasy setting. Like having a temporary alliance with orks. Or put spells on other leaders that would make them bend to your will. Could be great with Stardock touches that make GC stand out in 4x games area.

I voted for turn-based RPG. I would love to see a technology meets magic style fantasy game. I got Aveyond from TotalGaming and I love it. Something like that but revamped the way only Stardockians can lol.

A cyberpunk-style game. Preferably, RPG. Single player, of course. Maybe with the ability to create your own campaigns, or simply set parameters and let the computer generate them for you. Definite multi-disker, but it would make an RPG with excellent replayability.

I saw that game there but being made (apparently) with RPGMaker XP, it made me to hesitate... Maybe i'll try it in the future.

I voted for a turn based fantasy game. I haven't found any as good as Master of Magic yet (not that AoW: SM isn't good) and after playing GalCivII, i'm quite sure that Stardock can surprise me nicely. Oh, and i don't play multiplayer.

My second choice would be, withouth a doubt, a RPG with turn based combat. I bought GalCiv II a few days ago along with Gods: Lands of Infinity and i'm having a blast with both. If the game is fantasy or scifi isn't so important to me as how it's made (to cut down berserker Orcs with a longsword or toast Drengins with a laser, is the same to me if the game is interesting). Things like turn based combat (i prefer to be able to think the combat strategy, to have more than one character in my group and that i can control...), many sidequests, possibility to create (or at least choose from a list) character, an interesting class system, that you can get different endings according to your actions during the game (heck, if i were to ask, i wouldn't mind a "relationship system" like in Star Ocean 2  )... It should allow to add quests and all the usual modding stuff.

Society seems very interesting but we don't know enough yet. At this point i only know that i would try the free mode but in any case, i still prefer the two above that i mentioned.
