I hate getting things for free and I hate having a central place to check the information for said things as well. The creators of those free things should all go to hell for wanting to easily keep track of who downloads their mods, and the current released versions.

Will this work with TA and why do I have to register on yet "another" forum to download this mod...makes little sense...anyhow will this mod work with TA?

They're making it for TA, it's "coming soon", if you had read a bit before posting. You have to register, I'd guess, because 1- The file is too large for the library here. 2- They want their own space to monitor feedback and other responses, while having control over spam and unneeded garbage posts. 3- Because they hate you.

That's all a giant guess though, as it seems fairly common sense to me. Minus the hating you part. I hate most people, especially on the internet, so I'm a bit biased. ;)

3- Because they hate you.

4- Stardock itself refuses to put Paramount's intellectual property, Actors & Celebrities images, in their Library even if into a MOD by someone.

Certainly why almost anything Trek related is from "outside" sources and has been for a long time.

It's pathetic - I am giving up on downloading this. There should not be such ridiculous hoops required JUST TO DOWNLOAD A MOD FOR THE GAME. What is it all for?? Paranoia?? And why can't they host the mod in the library here, anyway, like everybody else? Too good for that?

Sign up here and confirm account, sign up there, wait for WEEKS, get no response, etc, etc.

Besides the potential copyright issues, it's just way too big.
