It Is OK to have KILLED U. S. Troops in Iraq!

I found it hard to believe what the Washington Post article said this morning which is that the Prime Minister of Iraq, Nouri al-Maliki was to announce a limited amnesty plan to help placate the Sunni Arab insurgency by granting them a PARDON so long as their only crime was ATTACKING U.S.TROOPS!

This is the new Iraqi Government Bush enabled to be created with the blood of our brave military and hundreds of Billions of dollars. This new government that is to make us more secure is considering granting PARDONS to Iraqi's that ONLY attacked and killed American Troops. If they attacked and killed Iraqi's, they are to be punished but not if their only crime was KILLING Americans.

This is the government that George W. Bush congratulated this week on his stealth trip to Baghdad. There is NOTHING that shows how wrong our policy is in Iraq then this plan to condone the killing of the infidels! All Americans must watch to see if this comes about and if is does we should leave Iraq ASAP!

i suggest that you pay Brad and Stardock a fee for your posting this stuff.

maybe then my mind and eyes won't be so taxed to see the garbage you spew forth. There is a very key difference between Iraq and any major city in the US....the US is not a war zone...Iraq is. I mean, really, Col.....even Col. Sanders would know that.

Yes a WAR ZONE we created. A WAR ZONE AFTER " MIISSION ACCOMPLISHED"

It's a tough political nut to crack.

Ultimately, the Iraqis must govern themselves. If establishing peace and security means granting amnesty to some insurgents, I don't begrudge them that.

Also, OF COURSE it's "OK" to have killed U.S. troops. Soldiers aren't criminals. Killing enemy soldiers is war, not crime. When a war is over, the soldiers on the losing side lay down their arms and go home, not to prison.

And if Gene were serious about this, instead of just desperately trying to find a new saddle for his one-trick pony, he'd be angry about all the innocent Iraqi civilians these insurgents have killed.

That's what makes this amnesty so bad: Not that the insurgents killed enemy combatants, but that they killed friendly civilians.

Not that Gene cares about any of that, of course. Nor should he. This is really between the Iraqis and their own elected government. If they they're willing to pay a price of amnesty in order to get some peace and stability, then more power to them, and I really hope it works out.

I mean, the last thing any of us should want is for our foreign policy and military strategy to be based on some bizarre concept of personal revenge for soldiers killed in battle.

And if Gene were serious about this

He's as serious about it as the guy under the freeway overpass holding a sign that says his rent's due today & he needs money for food for his wife & kids is about his sign. He's serious about it alright, but we all know it's bullshit.

Don't say that. Now he will start talking about how we have to raise taxes to feed that person.

Congratulate yourself all you want - you're just being ignored.

It is interesting that when you Bushies have no comeback you do not agree but ignore the truth.

I'm not conceding a dang thing... I'm letting you sink to the bottom like a stone in a lake.

Peace out.
