These Are the ANIMALS We are Fighting.

Not a word from American MSM.

LONDON - The International Tennis Federation sent condolences to the Iraqi Tennis Federation on Tuesday following the deaths of a coach and two players in Baghdad.

Gunmen shot and killed coach Hussein Ahmed Rashid and players Nasir Al-Haram and Wissam Adel Auda on Friday, reportedly because they were wearing shorts. Police believe the attack was related to a warning by Islamic extremists against such attire.

This is the headline the link here http://msnbc.msn.com/id/13007678/ tells the rest of the story.

People murdered for wearing tennis shorts. We expect to reason with such monsters? These were men wearing shorts BTW, Typical attire for tennis matches.

Now you liberal asswipes do not forget to SCREAM OUT LOUD about how we treat the prisoners. Yeh do not forget we are the monsters and the poor Islamic Fundamentalist are just MISUNDERSTOOD! Where is the outrage from the left? HOW COME Murtha is not on stage telling the world about this atrocity? Oh yeh now I remember it's only an atrocity when Americans do it. Where are the HEADLINES? in the New York Times? Where are all the stories about this? I am beginning to hate the MSM and the weenies leftist that slowly are rotting the soul out of our country!

This is the problem I have with religous extremist. Why can't the believe what they believe and leave everyone else alone? If you think it's wrong to wear shorts, don't wear them. What gives anyone the right to decide that because you think it's wrong you can kill anyone who dares to disagree with you. I have never read the Koran but I guess there isn't anything in there like our ten commandments that says killing is wrong. Wow what a concept.

Yup, if there are so much as rumors of U.S. troops stepping out of line the "citizens of the world" reporters fall over themselves to cover the story... however, anything the bacteria does is not only left uncovered, but completely accepted. When will we ever hear any member of the Bash Bush Bus use the word "outrage" in conjunction with any action from the bacteria.

Even when the bacteria targets reporters, for some idiotic reason, it is somehow our fault.

They are merely excusing those who they identify with.

In some way these guys do deserve pity, they’re now where Christians were thousands of years ago there stuck in time victims of a 1500 year old joke.

I don’t have a problem with America’s MSM only being critical of other Americans. I certainly hold all Americans to a much higher standard than the religion gone wild bozos. I don’t need the MSM to point out that this any many other atrocities were far worst than anything the Americans have done. I think if the MSM did make a big stink out of this it would be like trying to excuse our bad behavior by saying but look what they did, don’t we deserve a break for not being that bad.

I was told once, by my physics teacher in high school that we all need to be "nit picked," once in a while. He said it kept is regular. Whatever he meant "regular."

I was not aware that Islam forbade wearing shorts for men.  Does it?  Maybe the killers just wanted to kill.

much as I hate to agree with them identifying with each other, sadly I must agree.

These people are animals, period and deserve to be slaughtered like animals.

agreed, but how about they run both stories, for some perspective and balance, with a disclaimer that one action from either side does not call for an equally sordid thing.

Why? Why not hold the religious nuts to the same standard? It is this "reasoning" that allows, that accepts and says, "Go on and do it" to what the scum do.

To sit back and say, "well, that is just what they do. Oh well, at least I can be mad at America if they do it!!" That just doesn't work. They continue to do what they do, and all that is done is a little frown (if that). That, is wrong, in so many ways....but yet, here we are, doing it.

I do have to add that I did read about this in the paper, Fort Worth Star-Telegram but I'm sure it was buried in the back under international news briefs. I know it didn't rate front page coverage or any op-ed pieces. So it may have been reported but definately not highlighted.

This is really horrible! Where are the condolences for these murdered people's families. Where are the outcries as you say? Fallen on deaf ears that are only primed for when America does anything they deem as wrong!

I also heard that a few of our soldiers were killed in Afghanistan today. Sad, sad.....

an american troop gets in trouble it is blasted above the line on the front page in 48 pica.. HUGE inother words, yet when the MSM cannot betray the country it gets buried way in the back in tiny print.

I don’t see how it would be possible to hold them to the same standards as us. Because of their fundamentalist beliefs they have remained an infant society and have not grown in wisdom like a free modern society like ours allows. So I accept their behavior about like how I accept bad behavior from a child.

I can’t support killing them and I can’t ignore them. So I bring as much patients to bear as I can and support efforts to help them grow the hell up.
