Yes, before a certain person can blame the latest ill on Bush, I decided to expose this new abomination that has as its root, George W. Bush.

It seems that the director of Hostel, a totally depraved and disgusting movie (yes I have seen it), Eli Roth, has decided that in addition to world war, Malaria, Dysentery, and the pain of psoriasis, Bush is also responsible for a resurgence in horror films.  Never mind that they have never left us, and the only difference between Hostel and Texas Chain Saw Massacre (released in the 70s - Bush's Fault I am sure) is the setting.  Never mind the countless sequels to Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Halloween that have cursed us over the last 25 years.  No, they don't count.  Or if they do, they are Bush's fault as well.

No, the reason Horror movies have had a new (as in old or tried or repeat) renaissance is because people need to scream. (The movie in no way compares with a classic like Psycho that actually did make one scream).  Even though during the screening I saw, I heard no screams, just an occasional retching (some even for the horror scenes, but mostly due to the lousy directing).

So for certain clueless liberals, young and old, now you have another Bash Bush topic.  Hostel.

It is all Bush's fault.

You may have missed a joke I posted earlier and in the spirit of adding some humor I will post it again.

Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld were on Air Force One. Bush took a $1,000 bill out of his wallet and tossed it out the window. He said that will make someone happy.

Cheney took 10 $100 dollar bills out and tossed them out the window and said I will make 10 people happy. Rummy decided to toss 100 $10 dollar bills out and said I will make 100 people happy.

'Romcom' is short for romantic comedy although of those I've seen recently there is neither anything romantic or comedic about them.

Yes, 'Wolf Creek' is an Australian movie. It is a nail-biting scary movie for sure and if you mean 'good' as in 'disturbing' then I agree.

And yes on Wolf Creek!  It was very good!  I hated it, which means it was good!  Not like Hostel where it was just disgusting.  Wolf Creek was actually innovative!

The results of the Iraq war.

The federal Deficit and the added interest we taxpayers will pay

Energy Costs

Health coverage and Social Security

Education

Border security

Jobs

Trade

The condition of the Gulf Area

I know the vast majority will not be happy with the RESULTS of BUSH.

You mean you believe. That is where the problem lies between you and everyone else. You act is if you speak for the vast majority of Americans. Get this thru your head, you don't, all you can do is assume based on polls that you can not prove to be fair, reasonable and well done. remember we live in a wor;d where everything is done by humans and humans can and will lie and manipulate anything and everything. It's all about rating and ratings is always followed by money which I have said time and time again it is the driving force of everything on this planet, including the sale of your books.

Given the fact that is the way most people feel today and there is almost no chance that Bush will change his policies, I feel that prediction is about 99.9% sure to come true. Results that have people both happy and sad but blame Iraqis more than they blame Bush.

I don't think hardly anyone has ever complained about paying things like the deficit cause we will have to always pay taxes regardless of whether theres s deficit or a surplus. The day we don't have to pay any taxes will be the day people will want to know about these things.

Energy Costs


People complain even when it doesn't go up, and it has gone up even when things were good even before Bush.

Health coverage and Social Security


I will agree here, still complaints are nothing new here.

Education


I believe parents are mostly responsible for this. Regardless of what the Gov't does parents are not making sure their kids are being educated. You should be ashamed of placing this on the Presidents back when you know well the parents are responsible for their children.

Border security


After all these decades now it bothers everyone? This is just so stupid.

Jobs


There will always be jobs and in time people will find better paying ones. You don't really think that everyone started off earning high pay when they go the jobs they had before? You always gotta start at the bottom and work your way up. Besides I don't see the US crumbling over this, people are surviving just fine. Otherwise it would be all over the news.

Trade


Do you really think the average American even understands this or even cares?

Conditions that you only blame Bush for when there were so many involved that you refuse to place blame on. That is where you are wrong but you will not admit. Everyone knows the Mayor and Govenor were also responsible yet you don't care.

So where are all the mass protest on these issues Col, where are the Vast Majority of people you speak of so much? Do you really believe that asking 1000 people actually reflects the beliefs of the millions of American citizens? You can't even prove the legitimacy of any of the polls you like to cite. And you never will, regardless of what is said about them. People like real proof, they like whole numbers, they like complete analysis of things, not mere polls with questions that could have been directed to people already known to disagree or agree with a topic just to have the poll follow the story that is most juicy at the moment.

Doc, I think Eli Roth, and along with other people, get mistaken when it comes to horror movies and sometimes movies of other genres.

So here are some common mistakes I would like to correct.

"Frankenstein" isn't about John Kerry.

"The Blob" isn't about Ted Kennedy.

"An American Werewolf in London" isn't about Bill Clinton's years studying abroad.

"Scream" isn't about Howard Dean's campaign.

"28 Days Later" isn't about FEMA

"Crash" isn't about Lindsay Lohan's driving.

"Kill Bill" isn't a movie about Hillary Clinton.

"In The Line of Fire" isn't about Dick Cheney hunting.

"Invasion of the Body Snatchers" isn't about people who opposed the immigration bill.

Just like "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" isn't about people FOR the bill.

And finally, "Corpse Bride" isn't about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' relationship.

Though ironically, "The 40-Year Old Virgin" is.
