Hey there, I would like to sign up and when I went to the website I couldn't see the confirmation code, it just gave me a red x. I am usually quite computer literate but this just confused me.

Ok, I see it has been sometime since there has been a post in this thread. I am Quite interested in Joining up with the fleet, however, it seems that the link to the website is no longer active. Con someone address this situation and let me know what the resolution to this issue will be. Also, I was able to join via the Metaverse, and it now shows that I am a menber of the fleet, but I am wondering if there is more to it.

The Orca's, the Diplomats, the High Command Hegemony and the Arrakis Imperium all are currently active. There may be others as well. I'm sure any of these would welcome a new member.

Since I'm a member of the Diplomat's that would be my personal choice, but as either a new compatriot or competitor you'd be welcome.

BTW I'm trying to set up a representative metaverse council to help increase interest and participation in the metaverse.

Bummer about the Cylons catching you guys and all. I know of one other survivor from the fleet. He's with us over at the Arrakis Imperium. We'll leave the lights to the flight deck on in case you want to come on board. Mumble's right about the Dipos, the Orcas, the Hegemony and us (AI) being the only active empires in the top 10 right now.

The thread that Mumble is referring was actually started by one of our more zealous AI senators.

It is sad to see an empire fall. The BSG premise of this empire was particularly attractive.

There's no need to drift, you have a home if you want it. If you don't, we still wish you the best.

To any members of the colonial fleet still out there...

I recently corresponded with Gekomind on the status of the fleet. He said that he was experiencing some difficulties that required him to take down the Colonial Fleet website. He is working to get things up and running again, but that may take a couple of months.

The fleet can arise from the ashes and be successful again. Prince of Crows has decided to reconstitute the fleet and accept The Galactic Core's offer to host private forums for The Colonial Fleet. All Fleet personnel should report to The Galactic Core. Remember it only takes a few dedicated folks to form the foundation of something great. Embird, PhadeDarken and any other current or former members should not let this opportunity slip by.

As a former member I say that the Fleet was my first empire, and what an Empire it was. A bunch of friendly fokes out to make the galaxy a bit more BSG themed.

As that stands I would like to rejoin, but I dont know if I can keep up three character . Otherwise I will always be here to support the fleet, or just to share some friendly banter

I am not joining any Empire.
I am a different person to the one who joined BSG.
I prefer to work out how to play the game for myself and to work out my own tactics for different set ups. That is the main enjoyment for me.
I do not want the tactics, methods, handed to me on a plate.

I also do not want to be depressed by seeing how clever and how much better other people are at playing the game.
