I am having the same problem. It always happens when the game freezes for no particular reason. The only way to exit the frozen game is to press the power switch on the PC. After rebooting and reloading the game the saves will not load. Neither the latest or the previous autosave will load. I have lost 6 games that i had come close to finishing with total domination. Crashes when posting game to metaverse in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Anybody else having this problem. The game plays well until that point. I am running a 2 gig intel processor with 512 ram. The game seems to use almost all of it. I think that when i try to post that i do not have enough ram left to load the metaverse. Any help would be appreciated.

I used to get about 30% of the 60,000 I posted. For the last 5 games I have only received about 10% of what I have posted. Can you explain the scoring system and/or correct my total on the metaverse. Thanks.

I also dont like how easy it is to get the max score with the mods that are allowed. I do not play with mods as a rule. I tried some of the legal mods for 1 game and whipped off a maso large alliance win in about half an hour. This is not my idea of fun as the aliens do not have a chance. I like a challenge. The game is challenging if played the way it was designed. There should be more of a score penalty for modified games. Some of the players will do anything just to get to the top. I l

I tried to form an empire of BC only players but have had no sucess. I see you have also left the inactives of the canadian alliance. I could not tell you as the game moves incredibly slow on my computer. I am runnig a 2 gig processor with 512 ram. It is not the fastest but it should not take 30 seconds to complete i mouse click.

I seem to be the only one playing. I have moved us up to sixth place in the alliance rankings. I would like to catch the europeans but I cannot do it all by myself. When we catch them we might get some defectors and then we can go for the big boys. Any takers. There is no hockey so what else is there to do.

if you check my earlier games you will find a few altarian alliance wins that i was able to submit. Now not only can i not submit them i cannot go to the menu after starting the game without it crashing to the desktop.

Can you set up the metaverse to accept submitted games that are played on the gigantic balanced custom map? It won't accept any games no mater what options you add or leave out. I enjoy playing the map but it is very counter-productive in my quest to make the top 10 on the metaverse. I would like to see if i can submit a 60,000 score on this map as i have done it on almost all the others.

The game looks like it could be great but it is hard to tell when it takes about 10 seconds for every mouse click. Can the game move a little faster, who am i kidding, a lot faster. if it moved any slower it would be stopped. Will be looking for your next upgrade.

I have since changed everything back to the original alias and the metaverse is showing all my earlier scores but is only counting the last 2 out of about 40. I wanted to change my handle. After a switched i played a couple of games that added up to about 30,000 mpts. this should have brought my total score to over 100,000 mpts. When i checked the metaverse it only showed my pts for the last two games. I switched back to my old handle and all the old games showed up in the popup screen but the total is still only 29,000 and change. i have about 40 games listed but it is only adding the last 2. I would just go to the stardock central downloads and download the prophecy update. Installing this without uninstalling the original should update you mising files.

Check his games. How can he complete 2 or 3 games per day at the masochistic level with a gigantic universe and win evrey one of them with exactly 60,000 points. It is impossible. He has obviously found a way to enter the same game over and over. Please have his score adjusted acordingly and look in to some other top players as there are other suspicious looking streaks, just not to the extent of our scaming leader. Some people will never know the great feeling of earning a win. Think a
