Let me clarify my remark on multiple monitor support. Yes dreamscape/dreamscene does run on both of my monitors (on my ati x1600 pro) but it runs the same thing. Example: The rotating earth, the same picture rotates on booth monitors. Multi-monitor support truly means that it should be able to span one image across both monitors. So my monitors ( 2 x 1280*1024) are actually one 2560*1024 monitor. The program desktop earth (can be found on download.com) is able to do this. I

For as much as I am a supporter of this...it just has too many problems right now. 1. Both dreamscape/dreamscene have lack of multimonitor support. Figure out a way to fix that and it might be worth installing again. 2. dreamscape will NOT play nice with the milestone release of wb5.5. In order for an .dream to play I have to unload wb, reload the aero scheme, select/load a dream file and then reload wb. If wb is running first and then I try to run a .dream, I get the error

If I have any version of WB 5.x installed on my system running Vista rtm, my computer won't restart/shutdown/sleep, etc.. All it does is hang at the shutting down screen with the mouse in the rotating thinking mode. If I uninstall WB through SDC and then reboot the machine is fine. Any thoughts or suggestions? I always reboot my machine after installing WB before I apply a skin or run the program for the 1st time.

This is my question. I love what dreamscene is going to be and I am by far a fan of stardock. But as of late WC has been slow. What will this new site do to the bandwidth? Will WC/Stardock be able to handle it? Also will dreamscene turn into desktopgadgets.com or is this something that will be promoted?

I have always been of that route also....40MB doesn't really bother me. Except for the fact that I use the machine as a dvr. I already have 1gb installed and use 400-500 constantly. I am just trying to figure out why OD+ is jumping up to 40MB. Trust me, I am an extreme power user.

I have decided to go the minimal route this time and am use OD+ for a taskbar replacement. I have one dock for a sys tray and one for a start menu/my computer/ 2 fly out folders/recycle bin/minize to dock area. I have checked in the dock setting to optimize for memory but even with a few hours of use it spikes to over 40 MB of useage. Any thoughts of bringing that down? 1. Where do I actually report a bug for WB on vista? 2. I have to say while I love where it is headed for the moment I have switched back to aero. There is just too many glitches and lock ups to be usable on a constant basis. This is why I need someplace to report this to so someone knows this.

Stop playing with me on that. It's time for a new play toy and WB for vista is it. Besides....it has gone gold and hopefully us BT will get the rtm version. So that shouldn't be an issue....let's play.
