Bichur and all... so far, I've tried every possible option to get the wallpaper changer to work and still nothing. The only time that it works is when I'm logging into the computer... the wall change then... even though I have it set to change every hour. By the way, for the person that suggested earlier to contact stardock support... I already have and have not received a response. Not to the request that I sent in September nor the one from this week.

Hmmm... still no answer... just like the last time I posted this issue. I was hoping someone on here could give me an answer because I've not received any help when requesting help from Stardock. Oh well, not a huge issue. But, I would love to have had it working.

Hello friends... I wrote a message over a month ago about the wallpaper changer feature not working in Windowblinds. Well, it still does not appear to be working in the latest build of WB. The only option that does work is the change at login... but, it does not work on the hourly option. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks for the help! Listed below is the system info from WB: <br style=

Liandral... your system specs are very good. In fact, better than mine and many of my colleagues systems. So, narrowing down the problem is not easy. Here are a couple of options: 1. Have you upgraded your video drivers to the most recent release? If so, had you noticed any changes in your system overall? 2. It appears that you are not running the 64bit Windows... am I correct? 3. What objects or themes are you loading in DesktopX? Finally, I know of ma

Hmmm... Fairyy... are you on a dial-up connection??? I tried the download link from a dial-up connection and I kept having the same issue with getting cutoff from Stardock. Then, I jumped back onto my high speed connection and downloaded with no issue.

Liandral... need a bit more information... could you provide your system specification... Processor, Video Card, Memory, etc. By the way, why are you providing a Windowblinds System Report for a DesktopX and CursorXP issue?

Hi Necaradan: Thanks for providing your process list. I think I've found a couple of things that are causing the issues you've described. I can not speak for all of the Stardock products that you've listed problems with, partially because some of them are out of date (i.e. Spring Folders, ObjectZip). I know that I can probably help with IconPackager, Windowblinds, IconX, Enhanced Dialog, CursorXP, and WindowFX. So, give me a minute of your time try and narrow down some things: <

Well, Dude, just because you deleted all traces of Stardock products and did a restore does not clearly mean that the products was causing your problem. In fact, you MAY be running software on your machine that is conflicting with a specific Stardock product, or your video drivers are still not correct. By the way... I can tell you that MSPaint would not stop running because of Stardock products... none of the products make any changes to the program, its registry settings, etc. <

Necaradan... just for your reference, my other computer has the same video card that you've identified and I had issues with the most recent release of the drivers. I went back two versions and have had no other issues. But, it must be noted that the drivers not only affected Stardock products but other things as well (sometimes the issues were very minor). Can you provide a list of the software you have running on your machine (specifically the processes)? The list will be found by open

Frogboy... you stated, "ObjectZIP and SpringFolders shouldn't be available anymore to new Object Desktop users as we discontinued that ages ago. Not sure how you were even able to get those." Those products are still showing up in Stardock Central for me. So, the user claiming all the issues probably downloaded them through Stardock Central. I still use the SpringFolders to this day without any type of issues.

Jafo... I too agree that it is not so much whether they are up to date or not. In fact, I have noticed MANY of the nVidia drivers to be more buggy for my specific computer over the past year or so. So, I've stayed with my original drivers as provided by HP (after all, they are still listed online as the ones to use... which Medion typically indicates as well). Necaradan... What programs do you specifically have loading up at the start of Windows? I have a feeling that you have got

Can anybody assist me with something? I've made jump to the latest beta release of Windowblinds 5 and have tried implementing the wallpaper changer feature. I have it set to change every hour; but, it never changes. I have set it to change after every login... still no changes. Is there a hidden setting, a bug, or something that I'm missing???? Please help!

Paul... Love the updated icon pack!!! It is absolutely awesome. Thank you for doing such a great job on the pack... even amidst our impatience! Please understand that our frustrations were not directed at you!

Jack... I too noticed your original message with the screenshot. Not sure if it was removed due to size restrictions or if it was censored. Either way, I was upset that nobody posted a message as to why your posting was modified. Talk about a total denial of freedom of speech! The fact is, you spoke the truth and the truth hurts. I'm happy to see the new releases of certain products from stardock... but, very upset that promises are still broken.<

Ok, I know that some think that I'm on a tirade or crusade here by continually posting in this forum of my frustrations. They keep telling me to shut-up, that I'm an ungrateful person and give them more time via e-mail, IM, and through comments in the various forums. Let me make it clear that I continue to remain a faithful and happy customer of most products that Stardock produces. I love what the products do to make me more productive and add flai

Aaaaahhhhh... the silence is deafening. Will there ever be an honest response as to when this will get released? Or, will we continue to hear the grass grow???

Hmmmm... seems that the couple of days has come and gone... again! Just like all the other promises. Paul, you are an awesome skinner. To that, I don't think anyone of us will ever deny. Your work is always great and above the call of duty. But... I have a simple request that I'm sure many other would express as well. Either release the package or stop telling us it will be soon. This is frustrating to have all the promises of when i

I just updated my copy of windowblinds as well. I really like the wallpaper option... but, would love to have an option to have it change automatically after a period of time kind of like the Microsoft wallpaper changer powertoy. A frustrating part of this new feature is that it does not drill down directories... for example, if I tell it to pull the pics from the My Pictures directory, it will not include the pics in the sub folders... a bit frustra

Frogboy, Thanks for the update. Wish I had the skills to be hired by Stardock... but, I can honestly say that I'm one of the most graphically challenged people in the world. My programming skills are ok, but not what you all would need.

Paul... I too have never had an intent to offend you. Quite the opposite. I've been like a little kid in a candy store wanting the finished package of 64 pixel icons and whatever else you could supply. You are by far one of the best skinners that I've ever run across. In fact, the Apogee package is absolutely awesome... just disappointed when it did not have all
